It migrated across Asia and has now reached America. Many trendy coffee shops proudly sell the peculiar looking beverage. Bubble tea is a cold drink, made with tapioca pearls (hence the name bubble tea). These pearls come in pastel rainbow colors, white, yellow or black. The pearls are heavy and sink to the bottom of the cup. Bubble tea is served with a large straw for slurping up the pearls. *Tapioca pearls are very slippery this drink shouldn’t be given to young children . Bubble tea can be made in a variety of ways. It can be made with teas, milk, flavored syrup, honey, fruit juices, and agave. You can basically make it however you desire.
