Like Father Like Son
It’s obvious that this father and son duo cannot agree on a football team. Michael is a dedicated Seahawks fan, and Daniel is a loyal Cowboys fan. However Daniel and Michael share the same love for food. Daniel was very pleased with his son for introducing him to the seafood entrée’s at the Mastro’s Ocean Club for the very first time, which was a pleasurable event for Michael as well since he enjoys succulent seafood just like his dad. Now the two have decided to present one of their favorite grilling recipes, Caribbean Grilled jerk Chicken.
Learn How To Make Caribbean Grilled jerk Chicken
- 2 tablespoons ground ginger
- 2 tablespoons light creole powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon kosher salt
- 1 tablespoon cayenne powder
- 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
- 2 tablespoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon per pound of Jerk Seasoning Hot & Spicy. Or you can make your own using Habanero Peppers.
- 4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 8 chicken thighs or if you have large family 16 chicken thighs double the seasonings.
If you have a large family 4 pounds of chicken thighs should do. Daniel & Michael decided to grill chicken thighs with the bone in. You may use boneless thighs which holds in the flavor. Or Chicken breast which usually takes more seasoning. Or chicken wings which was introduce to us by our good friend Darrin who enjoys making Jerk chicken wings.
Step One: Rinse Off The Chicken Thoroughly
Step Two: Season Your Chicken
Step Three: Fire Up The Coals And Place The Chicken On The Grill, & Cover The Meat
Step Four: Check On Your Chicken Periodically
Step Five: Apply Worcestershire Sauce To Give Chicken A Glazed Look
Step Six: Remove The Chicken From The Grill. Place The Pieces Into A Foil Covered Bowl To Help Keep In The Juices
Add The Sides Of Your Choice. Daniel And Michael Chose String Beans And Homemade Mashed Potatoes. Bon Appétit
