Organic meals and food

Is there truly organic food or is it the mere assumption of semi-organic food on the planet? I would question that while prices of all organic food ranges from store to store, all food is of organic nature. Why have organic food so expensive that people that need it the most and are the most at need can not afford it? I noted that beautifully packed organic food is nice to look at yet the poor can rarely afford the soil it was grown on, the Earth.Once I heard of a missionary group feeding the starving, yet the money dried up and the organic food of donations  were no there nor available anymore, what would happen to the hungry then? I love the Earth, the organic nature of life and the force that it is needed to make the whole of life organic. Thoughts or prices?

Yes,l agree human we are bio organism first and real organic food is the ABC of life.

It is the largest reason I am growing my own real food in our sustainable village. Meanwail food in going up in price by 30% this year. Mostly packaged toxic food and 1500 miles away.

This kind of thread will be ingnore even though it is the largest part of causes of death in the top 10 most common ways to die.

Very few like talking about Zionism too.

Organic is about what kinds of methods are used to protect from bugs, how the soil is treated, etc. Are the tomatoes sprayed with chemicals to ripen faster? Is the corn or soy genetically modified? These things matter. Mostly because not enough sufficient, unbiased, objective reasearch has been done for a long enough period of time.

Unfortunately, there will never be "enough" research for those that fear science or even the corporate world.  Ten years, a hundred or a thousand - it would not be enough.

Once you start eating organically grown foods your palate becomes very sensitive to non-organic vegetables and fruits. I can't even comfortably chew non-organic foods, now. I get a reaction when I eat non-organic lettuce. I think it is important to regard how our edible plants are grown and treated.

"Organic" means raised without chemical pesticides etc.  It is more expensive because that requires more labor and has lower yield.  And if someone can't afford to buy it, they shouldn't.  Conventional food is just as nutritious.

It's the main reason our children will not out live us.

Just with 5 sq meters of space you can grow the vast majority of natural organic you need.

Or don't listen to me, follow mansatos to your grave's faster than ever.

Actually the reason for that is obesity.  A person eating a balanced diet in moderate amounts will thrive whether it is organic or conventional.

It is true that conventional fruit and vegetables dose not show a great deal of different of toxican within the food itself. Still organic tastes and better for you. GMO seeds , pesticides and fertilizers. Do create a great deal of soil damage, air pollution, death of insect and bees to pollinate, water pollution and so on and so on.

I have had both organic and non-organic.  No difference in taste.  As for organic being better for you - proof please, rather than a simple opinion based on the desire that it be true?  I grew up on home grown vegetables and wild meat, but it wasn't "organic" as both fertilizers and insecticides were used.  Haven't seen it did any harm - Psyche's statement has far more truth than a trumped up claim that "organic" is better for you.

From differient studies about nutrition in vegetables and fruits from both methods. It's ranges from very little difference to high difference. Like New castle Unverisity studies 50% higher in vitamin C.

On all levels real food is better except cost 20% to 50% higher where I live. Wilderness if you want gamble at the highest sakes of of your health, the Zionist will like that.

I display my art and trade at this all organic farmers market. Most of the market vendors and I are healthier than the average person and not one would not claim it tastes better, plus customer agree.

Also live in organic farming area in Belize Santa Familia. Hot spot average age life expectancy is age 91.

No propaganda media can convince me synthetic terrorist fertilizer and pesticides for real food plus all the package foods most people eat. Is not the most dangerous killer on the planet, fast food even far worst.

Weeds grow and insect live in the ditches, wail huge feilds are clean. Most of our foods come from 1500 km away so all that carbon to transport it. Then I watch planes dump pesticides on many parts of Mexican or Centro American where the life expectancy is range from age 30 to 50. Then you have all this synthetic residue on the product.

I'm a little confused.  You say that there is little to large differences, then go on to say the "best" is always organic even though there is usually no difference.  This doesn't make a lot of sense.  Are you trying to define "best" as anything without fertilizers regardless of nutritional value?

But then there are things like referring to "terrorist" fertilizers and pesticides; an "argument" plainly without merit, just another sensational comment without truth.  And when you say that nothing can convince you otherwise, well, that just means that you don't care for truth but will believe what you wish regardless of truth.  Like extending that the few people in your organic farmers market are healthy to populations in general - you should know that taking one small group of people interested in eating right and applying it to everyone is nonsense.  Whether organic or not, failure to eat properly will always produce a less healthy individual.

That oil is used for transport doesn't affect the nutritional value of food, nor does pesticide use have anything to do with Mexican or Centro American life spans.  There are other, very valid, reasons for short life spans including drug cartels and hunger...lack of acknowledgement of those factors does nothing for your argument.  Just as trying to claim that a family's entire produce needs can be met in 5 square meters of ground - not only is it untrue but is also impossible to plant even that much ground for the majority of people in the US today.

A bout 5 sq. Meters for each person. I was sponsored by the Canadian Governiment for 2 years in building tiny sustainable houses and grew 5 meter and at mo on ine mainly from that 4 season green house.

My next door friend farms and makes millions$ on selling solar e energy power back to the grid.

Today you can grow over million pounds of food on 3 acres. Counting on solid energy. My house and greenhouse only cost $3500 for the setup. It"s possible to feed the Nation easily, only the law of the greedy stands in the way of green living.

This world is mostly owned by synthetic elistist' who destoy and make green energy and food as illegal as much as they can. They made Cannabis, pubic enemy number one, when in reality, they are.

Cuban health care system is better than American, that shows happiness has more to do with health than money. I will grow or pay a little extra for healthy food.

Why would healthy grassroot group of people lie about about organic fertilizers and food. Yet you trust Food/sugar/tobacco substance health and food cartels. It's beyond me, except the general public excepts to be is dumbed down and be debtor slaves for life. Synthic pesticides pollution is in almost everything, water, air, earth that kills almost every bio organism animal. Plus the conventional food is 30% higher residue on it than Organic food does.

      High prices, yes.
"Certified organic products are generally more expensive than their conventional counterparts (for which prices have been declining) for a number of reasons:

      Organic food supply is limited as compared to demand;
      Production costs for organic foods are typically higher because of greater labour inputs per unit of output and because greater diversity of enterprises means economies of scale cannot be achieved;
      Post-harvest handling of relatively small quantities of organic foods results in higher costs because of the mandatory segregation of organic and conventional produce, especially for processing and transportation;
Marketing and the distribution chain for organic products is relatively inefficient and costs are higher because of relatively small volumes."

By using raw material, I can build a house in 3 months and avoid lifetime of mortage and possibility of serious health problems. Plus a faction of cost for running cost of a house. My customers have far more other freedoms rather than a house owning you.

Food has even more importance directly towards our health . I know you don"t like pot, yet the growing Technology  from underground solar and growop lights have advance our green lifestyle incredibly.

Also greenhouse technology and automatical machine farming use a small faction of landscape. Aquaponic is another that produces over a million pound of fish and vegetable on 3 acres. Just what the doctor ordered.

Yes, food prices will drop greatly , -Wail oil transportation is old news and bad for yah.

… and how is that all going to come about? Do you have any idea how the big money is all powerful and all controlling?
What if they listened to us and actually had regard for what we wanted. What do you want? If we the people voiced our thoughts / visions and seemed to be on the same page, perhaps they would cooperate with the majority. What does the majority want?
Probably what they already HAVE: Affordable and easy to obtain foods and goods.

Good thing I didn't say you couldn't grow your own food.  Good thing you didn't say 350,000,000 people in the US could all do it just as you can.

Wait.  That IS the insinuation you're making - that we can all live off backyard gardens, isn't it?

You can house the homeless and grow greenhouse food enough for every city just from the elistist' golf course. Not only individuals backyards the gardens on top of building would add great insulation too. I bulit eco systems of animals and plants that oxigentated and brought back life into old buildings.

The only ones who would not like that, are elitists, they rather kill yah.

Will you also destroy all parks?  Or only the toys of "elitists", or whoever else you wish to denigrate?  Because no, golf courses will not feed NYC.  Or Chicago or LA or any other large city.  Only dreamers think that such absurdity can happen.

*edit* a google search found not a single golf course within New York City.  Still think it can feed 7 million people, by volunteers yet?

Country after countries they holds up a white  flag to allow US  be exploided them starting at $1 a day then it's $2 then it's $5 and so on. Now countries like China and India double or triple your economy growth.

US oil cartel wars and bankers will not be able  to balance the budget for transporting the Food, synthetic energy, and other countries products people slaved over or they stolden from, wail polluting the earth.

Mark my words, it will be soon cheaper to make our basic products at home.
You want to sh*t where you eat too , go ahead. Many will find out soon enough none of this is self substainable. If they have not figured out the average person is 20% further into debt privately than the great depression. Or as equal in national debt as the great depression.

Then if you think that things are going to get better after 40 years ago elistist' threw us all overboard. Then your leading yourself into hopeless serious bad dream.

I know US can feed their own. India and China do it all the time. We all can always improve, all the time. Don't let elitist always sell you a pack of lies.

Of course we can feed our own.  We not only do that, but export large quantities (to China among other places).

What does that have to do with getting rid of farms and feeding New York's 7 million people from the golf courses in the city?  What does being debt have to do with it, or with oil cartels balancing the federal budget?

Have you decided that the scenario is ridiculous and wish to change the subject?

Never mind the World is constantly in consumption of the life in the cycle so it doesn't matter we all eat each other in the chemical compounds, that life gives and takes. Never knowing which source is the life which brought it to the period table. Sorry girls we all are once, were and of the one, then no time is real and never passed. See the cycle of eat what you want it is a chemistry means to the ends of semester one, nature knew best. Life never was parted in that party, in the time never knew, see the "no" relationships. It is well one. look to hold hydrogen in the chemistry of the meaning that carbohydrates are the parts of sugar that well, you do the cellular divisions and see the meaning of love of lust.

I dream big and true freedom for me is the ability to service nature and humanity. Why not green parties Government rather than Synthetic slave Masters.

Since I dream and work the dream for a living. The world will change itself for the long term truth vs the too old synthetic world lie. My purpose in life is help it along faster  for more happiness vs more suffering.

And the people who know nature best are typically farmers, not office workers like me.  I see no reason to go back to everyone subsisting off their own haphazard efforts to farm.

And the US produces more food now than it ever did in the past.  Just milk production alone has tripled overall and doubled per cow in the last 20 years.

Going organic would mean less efficiency and making less food, ceasing to export food, land degradation, and food costs rising.

I respect those who can afford the time of raising food organically or the money to pay for it, but it is not a realistic choice for the entire nation.

Wheat and milk are so genetically altered they are no longer healthy.  Two slices of bread is equal to candy bar.

When you eat healthy, the price of food is the same or better. When you eat healthy you consume less food because you are getting your nutrition rather than starving and eating more. So much waste too, for 3 bags of food we buy we leave 1 bag in the parking lot.

People are so incredibly brainwashed about money and food. That we have shorten the life expectancy of our children for the first time in human history. Many walk around like drones, robots and vombies, unable to defend themselves from their warlock, morlock owners.

Just try to eat right, I'm not willing to live an unhealthy lifestyle and die earlier.

oh! well, I guess you just sorta did start one, Cp! Thanks.

While dancing around a bonfire, sharing permaculture, (which was much better than the toxic treadmill zombies he came across elsewhere,) Castlepaloma felt a sense of unexplained exhilaration. These vegetarian-zombies were really out of this world. He knew they could bring him to a true sense of bliss if he could just live amongst them a little longer. He had enough supplies to last at least a month and the fruit would still be falling off the trees until September. He had tarps to sleep under and if he really got hungry he could fish. He knew these vombies would not approve but what they didn't know wouldn't hurt them. Anyway, maybe God meant fish for eating ... besides in the ocean all the fish were devouring each other ...
