Yes i am. I have no addcitions and never had. I was brought up in very good family where females took the decision and ruled so i was free from all these stuff.

There are two points you are making here, though you have strayed from the main theme.

1.Very good families don't drink which implies those who drink are  not to be socialized with

        2. Only the families  in which females wear pants are " very good"

Talk about being opinionated and being a little uppity!

i rarely drink alcohol, but on holidays or at parties i do a little bit, which is why one drink makes me get slightly tipsy. if that is what a teetotaler is, then i guess i am one.

I'm not quite sure what a teetotaler is, but when it comes to drinking if you set them up I'll knock them down.

Nope, I can't stand the taste of alcohol. I'd be very happy if I never had a drink the rest of my life. Why does anyone learn to like the taste of something that is not any good for you? Just my opinion.

I buy plain Absolut and put an inch or so of vanilla pod in it.  After a few days, you have home made vanilla vodka!

I have been told that drinking in moderation is a wonderful thing! Mine's a dry white wine please.

I'm not sure that being teetotal is part of the British psyche - alcohol has featured pretty prominently here since ancient times.

I never damage my scotch with tea, quite bad form I should think, a slight bruising from the ice cubes is however acceptable.
