Tu Bishvat is a Jewish holiday smile In Israel, the tradition is to plant trees and eat dried fruits. Fruit cakes aren't common in Israel, and if they are made then they aren't like that American one that you're thinking of smile

I would suggest you look up a recipe, since some dried fruits don't blend well with others.......in any case, my favourites are dried papaya and dates smile
