You do know that since today is July 11, or 7-11, they are celebrating by allowing everyone to come to their stores and get a free slurpee right? http://www.slurpee.com/
I wish I had a 7/11 by me right now. I like the cherry ones.
Too bad it's one in the morning, otherwise I'd get me that Slurpee right now. I betcha the peepes in the UK don't know what the heck we're talkng about!
I'm pretty sure that they're the same as our 'Slush Puppies' (more or less). Although they never really achieved the same level of popularity over here.
Totally different, but we have Slush Puppies also.
Ah, OK, what's the difference?I haven't had a Slurpee but they seem to be defined as 'A drink made of small ice crystals flavored with syrup'. Which sounds very much like a Slush Puppie.I'll have to try one next time I'm in Thailand, they seem to have a 7-11 every 100 meters or so.
Slush puppies have bigger chunks of ice and crunchy. A Slurpee is really really smooth.
Hmm. Come to think of it, I've never had a Slurpee. (I know what they are, though (I think) - if that counts).
Strange quirk in Australia - operating hours for 7-11 stores -8am - 10pm
LOL Try France - they have 8-8, which opens at 8:30, closes for 2 hours at lunch time and then shuts at 7:30.
Hahahahahah,Thanks for the tip Mark, my sister is heading there in 6 months, I will let her know that, hehehehe.
No 7-11 around here...
Oh my I love slurpees!
I love slurpee's it is so hot here they are very refreshing. I heard about the free Slurpee offer after it was over boo hoo. I live a block away that is the worst part.
