   My favorite cake to make and to eat is a German chocolate cake topped with a layer of caramel, then whipped cream, then caramel striping with heath bits sprinkled over the top.

   I love a plain vanilla layered cake with vanilla butter frosting. My second choice will have to be coffee cake as I am addicted to coffee.

   I would say my favorite type of cake is a special cake that my grandma baked with apples, brown sugar, and cinnamon especially in the fall. But I can eat it anytime of the year because it can make a great coffee cake for breakfast too.

    Growing up I always asked for Devil's Food cake with this creamy white frosting my mom made from scratch. Now I go for vanilla with chocolate frosting - funny how cake cravings change!

    I don't mean to brag but I humbly have to say that my flourless chocolate cake with coconut milk and chocolate glaze is to die for, just delicious. I could eat the whole cake myself.
