I wanted to know what some of your favorite apple varieties are. This year I got to try over 30 varieties, all to review for my blog. Some of my favorite include SweeTango, Grimes Golden, Pinata, and Prime Gold. So I just want to hear what other people are liking.
It really depends on what I'm using them for. If I'm making a pie or applesauce, I prefer a mix of Macintosh and Rome. I use Granny Smith when making a slaw or adding raw apple to a dish, Cortland for apple butter and I actually prefer to snack on Red Delicious.
