Frozen Cherry Pie Dessert
With Chocolate
Here is a good recipe for a frozen cherry pie with a chocolate crust. It's an excellent dessert on holidays or for summer parties. It is made with frozen sweet cherries mixed into cream cheese and milk. This recipe makes two pies.

Frozen Cherry Pie
Ingredients
1 16oz pack frozen sweet cherries (1and 3/4 cups)
1 8oz pack softened cream cheese
1 14oz can sweetened condensed milk (not evaporated)
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon almond extract
8 oz frozen whipped topping thawed
2 8inch chocolate crumb pie crusts
Makes 2 (8 inch) pies 12 servings
Directions
Chop cherries while frozen. Keep frozen until ready to use. In large mixing bowl, beat cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth. Gradually add sweetened condensed milk, mix well. Add chopped cherries, lemon juice, and almond extract, stir only until combined. Fold in whipped topping. Pour evenly into pie crusts. Freeze 8 hours or overnight. Cut into serving pieces. Garnish with shaved chocolate. Serve immediately. Cover leftovers and store in freezer.
