Western Succotash

On this festive day what we're really talking about is a wonderful day set aside on the fourth Thursday of November when no one diets. I mean it is a day of Thanksgiving and a reason to enjoy all the good foods this day have to offer like this tasty Western Succotash‏ that will bring flavors to your taste buds that will make you want some more.

Western Succotash‏

Ingredients

2 cups cooked whole kennel corn

1 1/2 cups cooked lima beans or green beans

1/4 cup finely chopped green onion

3 tablespoons butter

1/2 cup whipping cream

A pinch seasoned or garlic salt

Methods

We are going to keep it really super simple so we can get out some great flavors that are packed in these vegetables. In a saucepan, combine corn, beans onion, butter and cream; heat very slowly and add the garlic salt in layer to get the season you want.
