Christmas Dessert: Very Easy and Economical Milk Munchkins
This is a recipe me and my sister have invented. We wanted to make chocolate munchkins last December 25 as dessert for the family but the ingredients were not available. We couldn't find one specific and most important ingredient in the grocery so we decided to make another version of it. The recipe was experimental so we weren't expecting that it would be as delicious as the chocolate munchkins that we usually make.
You will need the following ingredients:
1 pack of Graham crackers (better if crushed is used)
1 can of condensed milk
powdered milk (not skim milk)
Directions:
If graham is not the crushed one, crush the graham crackers until it is in powder-like form. Add the condensed milk slowly and mix the two ingredients well. Add about ¾ can of condensed milk or lesser depending on your preferred sweetness. You can lessen it too if you don't like a very sweet result or add more if you want it sweeter. Once completely mixed, make small balls of the mixture then roll to the powdered milk. Line in a prepared serving dish. Chill for about 30 minutes before serving (optional).
After making, we served two trays and to our surprise, our visitors and my cousins loved it. My male cousin even asked my mom to keep half of the other tray so he could bring it home with him. We were very happy that they loved it. If you want to earn some extra money, this is also a good source of income. Surely, children and adults alike would love it. Well, that is based from first hand experience.
