Mango Smoothie Recipe

Yield: 3 cups (720 mL)

Speed: Variable to High

Time: 30 to 60 seconds

1 cup fresh or frozen mango 1 orange 3/4 cup (180 mL) lowfat vanilla yogurt 1/2 cup (120 mL) ice cubes 1/4 cup (60 mL) water Place all ingredients in Vita-Mix container in order listed. Secure two-part lid. Select VARIABLE, speed #1. Turn on machine and quickly increase speed to #10; then to HIGH. Run for 30 to 60 seconds or until smooth. Serve immediately. Making smoothies is an easy way to lose weight. Probably one of the key factors as to why I am not over weight like the rest of my siblings. I drink smoothies almost every day. 1 cup (240 mL) red seedless grapes 1 cup (240 mL) strawberries 1 banana 1 cup (240 mL) ice Hint: If using frozen strawberries, do not add ice. Place all ingredients in the Vita-Mix container in the order listed. Secure 2-part lid. Select VARIABLE, speed #1. Turn on machine and quickly increase speed to #10; then to HIGH. Secure two-part lid. Select VARIABLE, speed #1. Turn on machine and quickly increase speed to #10; then to HIGH. Run for 30 seconds or until smooth. Serve immediately. YUM sounds like a good recipe. I bought a blender in the summer and have yet to use it :( I guess now is a good time to bring it out!
