Hi People, joined hubpages about three weeks ago. Just wondering why no one is making any comment about my hubs. really want to know if am making any sense at all in this community. Thanks to all
Hi MeGunner, I just read two of your hubs and you have some interesting things to say. If you're not getting comments, it could be that not many people have "found" you. I would suggest writing a profile to help people get to know you better, and participating in the forums is sure to bring more views to your hubs.
I'm off to write a comment now, and welcome!
Well, first let's start off by Welcoming you to HubPages.
As far I for why people are not reading your hubs and leaving comments? There can be a number of reason, however, since you did make your way to the Extreme Hub Makeover forum, I would suggest you post a couple of links, if you would like your hubs critiqued.
You're obviously looking for answers, so my suggest could help you find that answer.
The Extreme Hub Makeover forum is one place where links are allowed to be posted, but try not to post too many, because most likely they will not want to review all of them at one time. Too time-consuming, hence why I said a couple of links.
Other than that....I hope you do enjoy your time here.
Hi MeGunner, I have just read a couple of your hubs as well - they look fine to me, though one was maybe a little short. What I think is happening, like PrettyPanther suggested, is that you have not been found. I think, aside from parcipating in the forums, you need to read other people's hubs and leave comments, then your profile will be more visible and hopefully they will come back and read your hubs in return. I can see from your hubtivity that you have not done this at all....no one will find your hubs if you don't have a presence....good luck
Hi MeGunner,
I am not an expert, I just started writing hubs recently. I can only give you my perspective.
1st I have read all your hubs. Although they are intellectual, they lack personality. I get no feeling of what or who the person is behind the writing. Put more of yourself into it so that we can relate to you as a person.
2nd, most of your hubs are low word count. What that does in my opinion is reduce the number of capsules used and I think that it is a harder read. Expand your knowledge base, use more capsules and make it a little more personalized. Some of the things I read are like what I might find in an encyclopedia.
Also, use bullets and numbers with your bold face formatting to give the reader a chance for a quick read. The paragraph style you use is well written, but about half way through the paragraph I had to work to hang in there.
3rd, some of your topics are "Ewwwww." I could hardly read the one about cadavers. Please add anecdotes that bring the reader along with you the person.
4th, your photos are poor quality, I would rather have no photos than to have second rate photos. Don't get me wrong, I think that the photos are really important, but bad ones suck.
5th, don't show photos of highly sensitive subjects. No one needs to see a cadaver to get your point.
6th, when writing about a subject as unknown to us as the Nigerian political candidate, give us the background so that we can share in the unbelievability of the scene. Your comparison to the PM and the Political scene in Nigeria may have been better combined to provide a sense of the difference and given us a contrast with real examples.
7th, read a lot of hubs and comment on them.
Good Luck, I am honest to a fault sometimes and I could be wrong about some of the things I said, however, you now know exactly what I think. I will go back now and review each of your hubs. I will leave comments as well.
I agree with some others before me in that you've probably just not be found yet. You're fairly new and when you look at the stats:
•Published Hubs: 805,506
•Total Users: 1,121,367
•Published Users: 152,279
You're one of 152,000 people here and your hubs account for 6 of the 805,000. You just have to make yourself seen. Comment on other people's hubs if you want them to see you and perhaps comment on yours.

Do you ever leave comments on hubs that you have not read in full?Once in a while I see comments on hubs that suggest that the writer did not take time or care to engage the writer by fully reading the hub before commenting. A lot of times a hub makes great reading but the sheer content of the hub...

PROBLEM: Whenever I write a hub on a controversial subject, a number of people create new, fake hub accounts solely for the purpose of posting negative comments and feedback on my hubs and/or threatening me anonymously. These new hubbers have 0 (zero) hubs and no other activity, and they are never...
