What is your forte'? What do you like to discuss? What are you marketing and it can't be spam  it cannot be pornographic and you can also go onto Hubber Requests and start writing an article or two form there as they will give many ideas to keep the creative juices flowing .smile
Also check out the Help tab for rules and regulations as that is also helpful . smile
      Welcome to HubPages and !!

Heres what you CANNOT write about

No promotional offers or Hubs designed only to promote another site or business.

No nudity, no sexually explicit content, and no links to adult or pornographic sites.

Do not promote gambling or online gambling sites.

Apart from this the world is your oyster!

Don't worry about finding article subjects that will be a "popular topic for discussion".  You're not going to make any money from fellow Hubbers discussing your articles or leaving comments - to make money, you need to write about topics that will attract people from outside HubPages, who are using the search engines like Google.

Maddie Ruud, one of the most successful Hubbers, has written a helpful Hub about this topic:

To be frank, I don't think Hubpages need any articAls. We have plenty, you know... wink

If you can write something meaningful though, any topic will do smile

Well, I didn't like to mention it, Ron - but HubPages is a place where you can make money by producing well-written, informative articles - the kind of thing you would read in a magazine.  You may be more casual when posting on a forum so I shouldn't judge - but your spelling and layout doesn't suggest you're a writer.  If that's the case then HubPages may not be the best place for you.  There are lots of other marketing avenues on the net - read some of Lissie's Hubs and follow the "Related Hub" links, and you may be surprised what you'll find.

Huge stuff is available in the net about most of the topics but stll there are many topics which is not available in the net.

I am a jeweler and i have written an article on jadau jewelery when I did not have any idea of what to write and what is a SEO. It was a natural and spontaneous out come. Tomy utter surprize it is always in the first page of Google, yahoo and MSN for the term jadau.

It is because there is no article on the subject except 4-5 of mine till date. All others are selling sites. So the idea is to write anything you have command on.

Hubpage is the best place for new entrants, Though it supports only english language so far, many non English speaking people are here. It is not necessary that they will write in English as good as the original English speakers. This does not mean that they have no right to write an article.

Subject knowledge and choice of topic is also as important as language. The seniors may advice them to enhance their writing ability. You have rightly suggested that.

Yes, I can not be agree with your commercial angle. It is not only the money which brings one to hub page. One may get  satisfaction of creativity in hub page.

Thanks a lot to hubpage which gives an opportunity to every one.
