Many people can get very decent money "just" for writing here in hubpages.

Don't get me wrong I love writing on Hubpages.  But I need a little more than a few cents a month.  I have patience and expect my earning to go up in time, but I'm needing a little extra cash now.  Unfortunately I'm having some writer's block.

no problem! Tons of opportunity. Seems some places are hiring for 2-3 blogs a week and you can get a steady income for it. Lots of stuff out there!

No online work pays quickly or all that well in a short amount of time when compared to an actual job.  For fast cash,  I recommend temp work with an agency in the town or city where you live.

This is a pretty good place to start looking. This list has 50 leads. I've gotten a little work from some of these.

      http://www.freelancewritinggigs.com/200 … e-writers/

Relache is right, as usual, though. Temping can bring fast cash. Maybe not a lot, but there are day labor places that pay at the end of every shift.

I have ideas that can and have worked, but they all involve heaps of learning time and some money to get started. I can't think of anything that is fast and cheap online that brings quick returns.

I wish you well with your search.
A female friend of mine does have a great online job for a big international, but it is technical and I do not know how much you would know about her job. She "cleans" databases of trick words, porn, funny names, spam etc using queries in a spreadsheet to filter them out.
She works wherever she likes, in bars, down the beach and is very well paid only working 6 months in any year, She does overload work for them as well at a higher pay rate.

There must be jobs like hers out there at least. I would look towards things you love to do as a means of maintaining long term motivation. Good luck!

That's the kind of job I would like to find.  I know my calling is out there I'm just not close enough to hear it.

fluffymetal (I love the name.) smile the problem is finding the job. Something I know little about, but others here will have ideas. I agree with what relache said. For NOW income local temp work sounds a lot quicker. smile

Just do some research online. You will find a lot of offers.
You just need Skype and PayPal account.
I personally know a lot of Russians who would love to improve their spoken English with a native English speaker.

Me too! I speak english like a second language. No, wait.. nevermind.

My problem is I live in BF Egypt. The only temp work offered anywhere around here has something to do with chickens. Don't know what, don't wanna know either.
