      There are many movies I love particularly animation bags. So I can watch them many times and still love them like Beauty and the Beast and Up. Also, I loved Sound of Music too and all the songs in them

   Agree with all of those - except I haven't watched both Memoirs of a Geisha and Pride & Prejudice, so I guess I'm missing out.

    A really old David Niven film called 'A matter of life and death.'  It one loads of awards including best musical score.  Check it out, although its old, its' concepts and cinematography are exceptional.

                   No to Netlix, I'm using mobile broadband which means I have download limits, so streaming is out.  But I have a friend who downloads pretty much everything new that comes out and burns them off for me.
                   
                   Don't have Nosferatu either.
                   
                   I've just stumbled across Brewsters Millions though which I haven't seen in a while, could be good for a cheeky pre-sleep giggle.

                      Have fun then. I get my old movies fix from Netflix, not free, but not as expensive as TV. hmmmm...you should jsut suck it up and buy some moveis Mr V.  I would send you some, but I dont really know how...

    Everybody has mentioned the names of a lot of great films, but how many can you REALLY watch over and over? I don't believe there can be that many that folk want to repeat watch, although there are ones worth going back to.
    I've seen UP - great film, I will watch it again. Memories of a Geisha? Great film, but the book was better IMO.
    Kick Ass, still to see it, but got it on my laptop.
    There's been loads of great movies, but how many can you watch 1,000 times? I tried my best with the Harry Potter films. Managed to see several of them maybe 6 times, then got fed up.
    Watched Avatar 3 times.
    Finding Nemo? About 20 times then I got fed up with it. Boy in Striped Pyjamas? Twice so far, but I'll watch it again.
    Why not just ask which films are worth watching more than once? lol

    My friend used to have only one DVD (apart from the ones he could not tell his GF about), so we used to watch it every friday night after a night out, we got to the point where we watched it with the sound down and we used to do all the dialog..

       That's an excellent one! Have you read the book on which it's based: P. K. Dick's _Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep_? As great as the movie is, I think the book is better.
       
       
       As far as movies I can watch over and over again: Silence of the Lambs, Interview with a Vampire, Misery, and Pink Floyd's Live at Pompeii are on the top of my list.

          I can't normally watch films over and over again as it annoys me too much as I know what is going to happen... I like to watch new films, but there are no cinemas out here, illegal! So have to buy dvds,

                Everything is illegal here........... why do you think I have nothing better to do in the evenings than be on here...
                
                The DVDs are illegal also so bought on th eblack market... even the TV has the womens cleavage and legs shaded over if they show too much flesh as if they are the victims on some crime show that can't be identified..

                            Adultery still has a death penalty associated with it...
                            
                            Best not to get caught doing anything, or being in a position that you can be accused of doing something as proof is not necessarily required from what I have seen..
                            
                            I have known people here who claim that they have been raped and robbed by the police here ....
                            
                            Wages for women are not an issue here, few work! In the company that I work in the women are actually paid the same as the men, but our company is not a pure saudi company...
                            
                            However the wage scale has more to do with nationality than sex, saudis get good wages (and do no work), then westerners and other arabs get reasonable wages, professional Pakistanis then make "ok" money, moving down through Filipinos, Indians, Indonesians, to Bangladeshis who may only earn $150 per month....

                               Yes, it certainly sounds as though it's best not to get caught doing anything...YIKES. No one wants bits chopped off, offending or otherwise, but I bet it saves them tons of money on imprisonment!
                               
                               You know, I'd be really interested in some Hubs on your birds'-eye view of the life and culture over there. I'm sure they'd make great reads and I'd learn a lot.
