I was trying to add a link to one of my hubs in another hub. I was using the link section. The ones I tried worked, except for one which said it was a bad link. Any idea what that means and what I can do to corect it?

I would say that the mistake is on your part.

However, does the hub actually exist or are you trying to connect to an unpublished hub?

If you are trying to link to one of your own hubs, then I would suggest you use the drop down menu, which is provided in the secondary bar that appears.

When you highlight a word or even a letter, and want to apply a link to one of your hubs- then pull the mouse over the word or letter(make sure it is highlighted), then click on the "chain-link" button, which is next to the "disconnect-link" button.

Chain-link is to the left of the "disconnect-link" button. When you click on the "chain-link" button, a small window is going to pop up in front of you, you will have two white bars. (a) the top bar is where you can manually type in the location where you want to link to(make no mistakes typing in the URL), otherwise it will kick it back at you as a non-existent location.

The other bar is so you can have direct access to your hubs. The little drop down menu will give you an entire list of your hubs and you can simply select from those and it will automatically link to it.

Again, anything unpublished will come back as non-existent.

    Hope that helped. smile

I'm in one of my hubs trying to link to another of my hubs that really exists. I went to the link capsule and copied the link. Usually when I enter the link it shows the title and a little about the hub, but in this case it showed the link and next to the link it says "bad link". The link is definitely not bad and the hub definitely exists.

I would email Staff and ask them directly to see if they can help. This forum thread might not be seen.
