Hello fellow hubbers can someone please explain this message from admin as I am at a loss to understand it. The only new thing I have been doing to promote my hubs is to post some on facebook. Is this the problem?
THIS IS THE MESSAGE I GOT ON MY HUB
WARNING: This hub appears to be receiving traffic from a traffic exchange
The AdSense Program Policy prohibits the use of "automated click and impression generating tools" and does not allow traffic from sources "that generate clicks or impressions such as paid-to-click, paid-to-surf, autosurf and click-exchange programs". Your hub may be unpublished as a result. If it is unpublished, it can not be republished until all traffic exchange traffic has been discontinued for at least one week.
Would appreciate help here thanks
I promote my hubs to FB as well and I've many links there on my wall.
I would think that there might be a problem from some of those who have come to your hub. The same people repeat visiting and clicking links will appear as "click fraud".
I certainly hope you haven't asked your FB friends to visit your hub and click links, so you can get paid???
A Traffic generator or a paid to click type, means that you have entered your hub or hubs, into the services of these types of companies. Too many clicks from the same IP address is the first sign of a problem. These programs are not allowed.
Hope that helped.
Thanks for the quick replies. I have had a surge in the traffic to my irish history hubs because i put up the links to all 8 of them on the discussion board of my Facebook group which is from the area that the hubs are about. But this hub with the problem is to do with advice on paying off your debts. I havent advertised that for a while becuse the traffic is steady.
I have never joined any of those sites cagsil that u mention, traffic generators etc, to be honest I dont even know what they are.
And absolutely NOT on the question about asking anyone to click on links, I would never dream of doing something like that.
What is the procedure as far as HubPages Admin is concerned. I really do not know how to fix this problem because I do not know what I have done wrong. Can I email someone in charge and ask them to explain it to me?
I didn't say you did, but someone you know, could have submitted it to one of those sites without your knowledge, trying to help you to make money.
I would contact HubPages Staff and see if you can figure out what exactly is happening, so there is no confusion and you do not lose your adsense account for violating their TOS.
Send an email: Team @ hubpages(dot)com
No spaces in that email address, though.
I know that, but was trying to avoid placing the email address, so email scavengers don't pick it up.
I fully understood, and you certainly did a wonderful job, but the least the Hubber needs in his current condition, where things are already confusing enough, is to send an email to a non-existing address.
Please don't look so concerned. I think you did the right thing, but I just wanted to make sure the Hubber got it right. I was afraid that otherwise he might get it wrong due to the confusion. No offense was intended. Please accept my smileys, although I don't actually use them.
I find this very informative and educational, for future reference.
They have logs of everything, including your Hubtivity. You could reply to the email they have sent you, or contact them through the contact form. I suggest including a link to this forum thread, http://hubpages.com/forum/topic/45511.

Which hub? I can take a look for you. (Just the name will do, no need to link.)
The hub is called Advice on paying off your debts on credit cards and loans. But from the message I received it is not the content of the hub that is the problem but rather where the traffic is coming from. Thanks anyway. I have emailed the admin and hope to get a reply soon. will post the result here when i sort the problem thanks.
The problem is that you are receiving traffic from a number of "safelists," which are basically traffic exchanges. This is against Google AdSense's program policies. You should definitely remove the links you placed on these sites, and then the warning should disappear after a week or so.

In reviewing my traffic sources recently, I noticed that I was getting traffic from a site called traffup.com, which I had never heard of before. I went to the site and signed up for it to see what it was all about, and found that someone had posted a link there to one of my hubs. I thought...

I haven't viewed my adsense from Google in awhile, so when I tried to log on today to change a bank account I noticed I couldn't view adsense in classic view anymore. Previously I had the problem where I couldn't view it in the new version. Is anyone else having this problem? If so, how do I fix...

Hi fellow Hubbers! I've been hubbing here at HubPages since year 2010 and I just can't believe that I haven't earn anything from my published articles since then, not a single cent! There's obviously something wrong. Any ideas? Please help! Thanks.

Something just occured to me, not only are we writers here but we are ALSO CONSUMERS. I see nothing wrong with clicking on a fellow hubbers google ad if it's something we are interested in. I am getting the feeling that some people are afraid to do this for fear of reprisal for being click happy...

I have seen mixed messages as to whether or not this is legal. Please help me sort this out. Thanks.

Well, I hope I am posting this in the right spot. I've been on Hubpages now a little over 3 months, and am enjoying it thoroughly, all the writers here have been great. I have done a lot of research on increasing traffic to my hubs, and mostly people seem to collectively agree that to really boost...
