What is it that I am doing wrong? I am barely getting any traffic to my hubs. If you can provide me with constructive critism please do.
Did you do keyword research? Using keywords in your titles will give more relevancy for your hub itself in the search engines.
I would suggest that you post a couple of links to the hubs you want critiqued and let some of the veterans have at it.
However, you have come to the "ask for help" forum and NOT the Extreme Hub Makeover forum. I have reported this thread to HubPages Staff, as I write this post, so they can move your thread to the correct forum.
That means, you do not have to open a new thread. Once, Staff moves this thread to the Extreme Hub Makeover Forum, then post a few links and then ask.
You have too many hubs for people to spend time going through ALL of them, trying to figure out what the problem is? The problem could be many things.
So, that said, I'll wait to reply, until Staff moves your thread.
Thanks for letting me know the difference between the forums. I've asked questions before but never posted on the forum-i guess one of my issues might be that I need to read thing thoroughly before jumping right in
It's not a problem, because HubPages Staff, moved it.
Was there a particular hub or hubs that you wanted critiqued? If so, please post the links you would like. I have already gone through two of them.
As I said in my previous post....a lot of your titles are too long. I can understand wanting to use as many "keywords" in your title, but not words that are useless.
Titles should help people find something, answer a question, fix a problem, or have a solution(good information) for people.
I just read a few of your hubs. Your writing is fine and you seem to genuinely care about your subjects. Those are the only areas on which I feel qualified to comment. Whatever is hindering your traffic is not in your prose, I would say based on the three or four I read (so obviously not having read them all).
Maybe look at hubs by Ryankett and Sunforged to get some advice (there are others but those two come to mind quickly).
Ryankett
Sunforged
I know Sunforged has this 60 day thing that I've heard good things about. Patty Inglish wrote about how it works, you might want to look at that to get started too. Here's a link to her hub: http://hubpages.com/hub/The-Sunforged-60-Day-Challenge
Hi when you find the answer please let me know.
Seriously this seems to be the million dollar question, as a new hubber I guess my advice is only speculation but I would follow the advice of the seasoned successful hubbers.
Quality hubs, relevant keywords, backlinking and patience.
Good Luck
The hub below is not truth or honesty.
http://hubpages.com/hub/payout-the-pick … e-win-play
In the beginning of the hub- you make the claim of winning a jackpot, yet in the comments section, you say that you didn't actually win yet?????
I can understand that you want to show people what you "think" you would do with the money, however, many people in the position you want to be in, have done nothing with their money except for spend it wastefully.
You can claim what you would do...but the hub claim is untrue. Why would anyone want to read the other hubs you write, if this one is untrue???
I think you are damaging yourself, your good name and hurting your ability to do anything online, with this one hub.
Honesty is the best policy in writing, as it is in life.
I've also checked on this topic.

The above hub could use a re-vamp. The video right in the beginning shouldn't be first. You want your reader/viewer, to get to your writing before forcing them to watch a video.
Some people might not even hang around on your page, because they see a video in the beginning. I am not 100% sure of that, but I know I wouldn't hang around.
The titles on many of your hubs are way too long.

Okay, guys! What am I doing wrong here? I have written 39 hubs, and only made $4.94 on AdSense. That must be the hardest earned $4.94 of my life - no joke! I made more than that in one evening of babysitting 25 years ago.HELP!! Please!! I have heard it takes...

I've been on here for 9 months and followed all the advice from the learning centre, forums and hubs from the best hubbers. I earned the first $24.00 in the first month and I'm only $1.00 ahead for the next eight. What am I doing wrong? All help will be greatfully received.

I had a hub that was receiving around 1,300-1,500 views per day. It was chosen as Editor's Choice. It then dropped by about 1,000 views per day. I opted out of the program, but that hub is no longer showing in Google for the keywords that brought it all the traffic before EC messed it up. How can I...

What is wrong with Hubpages?I published a hub a few months ago without any problem and now it has been removed from publication because of "unrelated links." There are no unrelated links but I removed my Amazon capsule and links to other hubs on the same subject and now they are saying...

Whats wrong with my hubs? Why is my traffic falling?I've spent a few days recently going over my hubs, reorganising them according to all the advice I have read here on hubpages. I've linked to other hubs; to my own hubs, etc. I've even put the comments capsule below everything...

I've been doing a lot of thinking about the types of services we offer Hubbers and how to help Hubbers improve.A few services that have been suggested- grammar and spell checking- suggesting edits- providing images/media upon request- formatting help (breaking hubs into multiple text capsules,...
