      Internet Addicted,

For me yes. I run a bunch of Web pages, Blogs, Etc. So being online and working @ the same time makes me addicted. I have to make sure everything's up and running and all my 3rd party applications are ok.

So Yes I'm addicted can't go more than an hour's time without being online in some sort of way making sure I have control over all of my content and work. I know many people who also are like this.

Theirs really no way of "Shutting" off, and relaxing. I go through withdraws if I can't sign on to anything lol

Nah, I can give it up any time man.......

Owning 2 mobile dongle things for my laptop just in case one network is down does not mean anything..... I'm not an addict, I can stop using anytime...

I'm pretty bad.  On the one hand, I can leave the house and not think much about it.  On the other, I've been kind of concerned to notice how extremely uncomfortable I've gotten when things like the router went, or we had a power failure.  I was pretty much in an awful way.  hmm

(In fact, I've "solved that problem" by signing up for mobile broadband service and getting both a mini-netbook and a Blackberry - so I won't have to be in "awful way" again.  lol  lol)  (Is making sure you have two ways to get the Internet when you're away from your "main" way of getting the Internet a problem?  hmm  I'm thinking it's a bad sign.)  (I see Lean Man has the same problem I seem to have....)

    funny answers..

my son says I am, of course I'm in denial. part of it is because I'm trying to not buy paper... but there is something much more pleasant about sitting on the lanai with a real newspaper or book, magazine and not an ipod.

I almost don't want to buy an ipad for that reason. and now the oil consumption..

I have gone a week at the longest without and that was by choice when I was on vacation and banned use of gadgets. it was really very nice to be a real person again. hmm  but like many of us here, much of my work is online. I do make myself take long breaks or say to myself, 'no. there is a real world out there. go.'
have you noticed how people have lost some of their social etiquette?? duh! lol  I try to imagine some of the forum characters at a coffee shop. are they like that in real life?
[I would find a different seat...] lol

I think I'm pretty much the same person in real life  (only, of course, I'm not Earth.  I have a face, eyes, the whole bit.   smile  )

On the addiction thing (and on the coffee-shop thing too, come to think of it):  I can't do this this week because I can't leave my desk; but I'm planning to bring the Internet with me to the local coffee shop (outdoor tables).  After all, a person needs a little fresh air and sunshine!  lol  Next week, just call me a "real outdoor type".  lol

I am a hardcore internet addict. Even if I dont do anything I need that tiny lil computer blinking in the taskbar because I may need to do a little research or just get in touch with an old pal anytime. I cant describe the level to which I am addicted to internet yikes

I have no addictions, but there are some things that I really like to do. Being online is one of them, but is not an addiction.

I don't even really like the Internet when it comes down to it; but somehow, there's always something to be done on it.  smile  (If I can't think up something I "need" to do I'll just click back and forth between e.mail accounts sometimes, waiting for whatever shows up.  lol  )

Its easy these days to get hooked on the internet, with so many social websites available...its easier to get shopping cheaper with so many stores on here, why go out in the rain when you can get the store to deliver...Me i love the internet, wouldn't live without it...

In start I hated internet,as was unable to use it, no proper functionality was known.
But now I am really addicted of it, I've learnt a lot from internet, whenever i couldn't know the information I just search and surf through websites and got the result. Its amazing that internet really enclosed the whole wold into box.

I've seen many people confuse about the usage of internet in negative sense.
Everything got two sides and its dependent on the user which side he chooses to perform action.
Internet is a strong tool which allows us to visit the whole world with just few clicks smile
