Yeah year doesn't matter, I'm still thrilled off of Ninja Assassin that movie was decent, truly a movie that kept me off my seat or the fact I drank to much soda...

Transporter (all of them)  It doesn't hurt that Jason Statham is the star either!

Still haven't seen the third, but the second one has the all time greatest "That was dumb... and AWESOME" moment, when he gets rid of the bomb on his car by doing a barrel roll under that hook.

The first Indiana Jones movie blew me away, way back when.

Live Free and Die Hard, with Bruce Willis.  I am thinking of a play on the title for a t-shirt, Live Hard and Die FREE.  This is a great question, I like it.  Thank you for asking.

Yeah  i am an Indiana Jones fan, the old ones anyway i dont know about the newest one....

Live free and die hard with Bruce Willis was decent and action packed and the other Die Hards were decent too, except for Die Hard 2 which was a little lacking to me...

Kingdom of the Crystal Skull was kind of a C+ as an adventure film, which isn't good enough for an Indy movie. As an ACTION film, it doesn't even deserve an honorable mention.

A PG13 Die Hard? There's no way someone's gonna talk me into watching it if he can't even say "Yippie Ki Yay Mother Bleeper!" Even if the movie was alright and everything, you could never show something like the bare feet sequences from DH1 in a PG13 movie.

If you want a movie that will beat you over the head with a spiked bat of unbelievable action: Takashi Miike's Dead or Alive.

NOT the video game movie, the one with Sho Aikawa.

Another good one is Deadly Outlaw Rekka from the same director. Full Contact by Ringo Lam is a classic, it did bullet time about a decade before The Matrix tried it. Shogun Assassin is an obvious choice, and of course, you really don't know anything about action movies AT ALL until you've seen John Woo's Hard Boiled.

As for English language action movies, nobody's beat The Road Warrior in twenty years.

I can watch Diehard over and over again, and 'The thirteenth warrior was' incredible, but the flick that I remember most seeing in the theatre that was non-stop action was Aliens 2.

    Still love that movie...

Die Hard is the best American action movie when it comes to beating the crap out of the hero, which is what you gotta do. All the best action movies are like: Hero goes through some serious crap for about an hour and a half, and then BAM, he gets back at the big boss.

CRANK. This movie never stops. The whole premise is that it can't stop or Jason Statham will die. They kinda went overboard with the sequel but the first one is... really awesome.
