How long does it take for the hub team to answer your e mail

    Hi
I just sent my third email, each one 24 hours apart and have had no responses from the team.

I am unable to publish.  I only published 1 hub.  I have two I want to publish.

According to the error message, I am banned because of "repeat offences"...I don't know why because I've been part of hubpages 5 days in total and 3 days since I am receiving the error.

The first hub was on Excel, the unpublished second one is on "how to look good N@ked"about the reality show.  I thought the word N@ked could be the issue and I took it out to see if that's the case, but still I'm banned. The third is on a Open Source Program.

So my question...when is the soonest I could expect an answer, should I wait a week at least?or more?

      Hi Virtual Voice,

We never received your first email.  I do see the email that you sent 21 hours ago.  We generally try to respond to emails within 2 business days.

You were attempting to publish from several IP addresses we've had problems with before, but you shouldn't have any problems publishing now, unless you start breaking rules yourself.

        Hi Maddie
Thank you, I'm able to publish now.

I don't know what happened to the first mail, I sent it through the contact form on the website.

and the IP addresses...don't know how that could be since I've only been using this computer, unless something influenced it somehow to appear different.

        BUT thank you, once again

I do not know how long it will take. Usually, the best way to contact HubPages is through their contact form, so you may want to try that.

Was wondering this myself (how long it takes to get a reply once having sent an email) - although I only sent mine about an hour ago - but I have had bad experiences with one or two other sites taking ages to reply, or not replying at all.

I cannot publish my 5th hub, and can't see anything wrong with it - about parenting and "homegrown" children.  I joined less than a week ago and was loving it here.

The contact form concerns me too, as once having sent it, there is nothing that comes up saying "message sent" and I'm left not knowing if it went off.  I emailed directly from my email account and hope that helps - I'm just sad it's weekend and may have to wait pretty long for a reply!

Your frustration is understandable, but there are lots of other things you can learn and try while waiting for them to respond.

In the past I have had great response - within 24 hours always.

I sent emails directly to team@hubpages.com rather than the link.  It is simpler for me to jump other to Outlook and send and track.  That way too, I can make sure it was sent and then move it to a folder so it doesn't get lost and doesn't get done.

    Hope that helps.

      Same here.
But with all the new guidelines I imagine it's holding things up a bit.
I usually get a response in 24 hours too, but I have noticed recently it takes about 48 hours which is still great compared to some sites.
(GETTING a response at all is great compared to some sites!)
I had an unpublished Hub on the ninth and shot off an e-mail asking why, and so far it's been almost 48 hours, but I'm sure I'll hear back soon.
Just hang in there and try to work with the HP Team.

I got a reply (see further above) 4 days later, saying I would be able to publish my hubs now - it actually wasn't too long a wait, as some sites take a week or more, or don't even reply at all.  3 or 4 hours after I emailed HubPages, I was able to publish that same article I was previously having trouble publishing though, and by the time they emailed me back, I'd already published a few more, which they could have checked on and seen that everything had come right, but they still emailed me which I appreciate.
