This page ( http://hubpages.com/hub/free-letters ) has been on hubpages for quite a long time and its score has been in the range of 75-85 for many weeks.

Its score has suddenly dropped to 64.

There aren't any warnings about tags or anything. Everything seems OK.

Can anyone tell me why this score plummeted?

I don't know but I had the same thing happen yesterday, to a number of my hubs, although they are climbing back up.  I'd be curious to know the answer to your question myself.

Same here. Some of my finest, high traffic hubs have been falling steadily over the past week or so. I have a hub that generates 200 page views daily and it's dropped to the mid 70's for a score. Several have dropped to mid 60's and below. Any HP geeks know the answer?

Wow! So I am not alone!

    This must be a glitch!

It's a glitch, or a purposeful change in the ranking algorithm.

Did your traffic fall off on that hub?  That's usually the biggest factor in Hubscore.

This seems to have happened within the last 24 hours or so.

Maybe it’s meant to increase the amplitude of hub scores’ vibration. Those hubs that are always at the top can have a taste of medium levels and vice visa - its all about socialism and socializing.

I came across the same problem many times. One interesting thing happened with one of my hub. It showed a score of 89 and then traffic has arisen tremendously. While traffic goes very high score was reduced to 78. Funny system.

I'm seeing this very phenomenon right now. I thought there was something wrong with the hub concerned, but since it's not solely my case then there must be another reason for it. Anyway, I'm enjoying traffic peaks more than individual hubscores big_smile
