Aren't women not allowed to be more religious than men? Women are not considered holy in the same regards as men in the cleric.
I believe they have a better spiritual understanding than men.
They understand me and my work better than men.
They just have a better understanding in general.
I don't know, I worship women so doesn't that make me more religious?
I believe it is equal. "Religion" comes from the ancient term "holy practice". So if you break it down, both sexes are about equal with understanding "holy practice". To ask which one participates more in it, isn't a valid question because no large-scaled consensus can adequately determine that. Women, however, do seem to have a strong grasp on "intuitive" elements, rather men have a strong grasp on "perceptive" reasoning. Meaning, a woman can "feel/sense" a danger is near or coming and man can "reason" when, where, and how that danger may reach them.
In short: you can't have one without the other. A perfect team.
Are woman more religious than man?
Hi friends
Yes , many a times. Moses mother was one such women; she often received personal word of revelation from the Creator-God Allah YHWH.
Mary was another such person. Mary's mother was also; that is why God accpeted her prayers and Mary was born to her and then Jesus was born.

religiosity is even a vague concept, it is difficult to measure
I would suspect that women are more susceptible. Until relatively recent times women expected to be taken care of by husbands and those husbands made the vast majority of decisions in their life. Men, on the other hand expected to be the boss of the family, making those decisions. Women were more willing to take direction and orders from men while the men resisted attempts to tell them what to do.
As organized religion is an attempt to control people, giving direction on how to live and what to believe, women fall right into it, being more willing to accept that direction. Men resist attempts to tell them what to do.
All that is changing, of course, but I believe there are many hangovers from old times with those attitudes, particularly in more undeveloped countries.
Some observations also support this; a woman going to church with the kids while Dad stays home and plays golf or goes fishing isn't unusual. Women staying home and playing, on the other hand, while Dad takes the kids to church is unusual.
Older women are more prevalent in church simply as a result of increased life span as well.
As cultural attitudes change I would expect it to even out over generations, but for now it would seem women are still more willing, as a group, to take direction.
The golf-course thing, Modern males seem to have have an innate affinity for golf courses.
Human males evidently prefer a landscape with grassy parklands, intermittent trees, lakes and streams, high points offering vistas, and enough cover not be seen.
Anthropologists think this reflects an inborn affinity for the grasslands of East Africa where humans differentiated from other apes.
Golf courses simulate that environment. The point though is that any natural creature will love its natural environment, and humans are no different. It is an example of biophilia. IMO...lol
As far as religion. I think women are more spiritual.
Gaia and God is a sweeping ecofeminist theology that argues for healing relationships between men and women, classes and nations, and humans and the earth. What we need is a book on how to do it.
If human beings have an innate, biologically-based connection to Nature, then the nonsensical disregard of the natural world.
The Term Mother Earth is a clear example.
I like your comparison of golf courses to grassy plains, although I would question the concept of hiding. There is no place on a golf course to hide, and ancient men would be quickly devoured on one because of that.
Nevertheless, the thought has merit, and could very well be right.
LOl consider...Humanity’s dependence on the physical world is plain in our dependence on Nature for the tools of survival—everything from clothing to fossil fuel—but is there also a deeper, less obvious role that Nature plays in our lives?
We feel closer to nature because we have the ability to procreate...perhaps this makes females more intuned to the spiritual IMO.
People have been tied not to experiences of the divine, or the awesome wonder of creation, but to a way of thinking characterized by a yearning to escape “ordinary” reality for some promise of paradise. What we really need is a spiritual practice which brings us into a greater intimacy with Nature.

Hi friend luvpassion
I agree with you; except that the Creator- God Allah YHWH was never born; He causes us to be born.
Thanks

organised religion, politics and women are synonomous, they all find their security in the numbers and status class. in stead of the simplicity and singularity of Truth.
Truth they cannot stand because they cannot risk standing alone by themselves.

Arjuna (Hindu) fought and killed his family at the direction of his God, Krishna.Joshua (Jewish, Christian) killed the women and children of Canaan at the direction of his God, Yahweh. Is it ever OK to fight or kill based on your religious principles?

Can a philosopher be religious?Schopenhauer says "no." He's one of the first important European atheist thinkers and doesn't consider it feasible, because philosophers must question everything. He does claim that "faith" is one of the things which makes us humans...
