I went to bed last night with 176 fans and woke up with 173. If anyone sees them, please direct them back to me. Thank you

My guess is we occasionally lose some either because they decide they don't like the kind of stuff we write after all, or they only joined our fan clubs so we would join theirs, and then they dropped us knowing it would be really hard work for us to work out who we were still fans of, that were no longer fans of ours,

That makes sense. I usually join a fan club of someone who joins mine.  Oh well, I guess you can't please everyone all the time.

Sometimes, a fan's entire account is removed, so you lose a fan.

Sad, but my ego prefers that answer to the one that where they decided they didn't want to be associated with me anymore.  Thanks, Patty!

Thanks Patty. That's the way I'm going to think about it. (It also raises the self-esteem level)

They must be where a couple of mine ran off to also.  Maybe they need GPS units or something.

Fans are fickle beasts. They're also tasty, which is why Google sometimes eats them. Maybe you should check Google's tummy for your missing fans. Or launch an AdWords PPC campaign for more.

Maybe that is why Google is growing so fast smile

Well, Miranda Rights, if Google is happy, I'm happy. They can eat away, I'm not ready to launch an Adwords campaign yet, but I have gone the Facebook route with minimal success.

There has to be an easier way then stealing from Misha. He's just celebrating... what was it 1000th fan? Poor Mr Popular wouldn't get over the loss of even one stolen fan.

I got's an idea, the brain storm of the century, lets all become fans of rockinjoe then we could save ourselves from the wrath of Misha's possibly swinging filled-with-heavy-anvil-purse.

I'll defend you Misha. Let me say right here and now that Misha would never steal fans from another hubber. A pocketbook or wallet, perhaps, but never a fan.
