Can I put this on my hubpages,

"the writers at hubpages only get paid if a visitor clicks on add,
If you enjoyed an article then click on a ad to help them"

Absolutely not. It is against Adsense terms of service.

Most definitely you cannot. It strictly against the Google Adsense Terms of Service to encourage anyone to click on ads. It would get you banned from Adsense and/or HubPages. And you could get other hubbers banned as well. Click fraud is what it is called.

No, please don't put that up. WE is right.  Adsense only wants organic and true clicks.

Ben, given how grievous a mistake you were about to make, I recommend you read the AdSense terms of service so you don't jeopardize your account or anyone else's due to ignorance, especially as Google doesn't accept that as a valid excuse for TOS violations.

I never said I was going to put that message on the hubs I only asked can I.
I had a question to which I would have liked an answer to, I thought this was the place for that.

If I offended you or anyone else then I apologise,

and thank you, I will go and read the adsense terms.

      Many Thanks

Ben, you did the right thing to ask.  Don't misinterpret Relache's straightforward answer, she's not offended.  She's just a busy Hubber who always comes straight to the point.

She's also very successful so any time she takes the trouble to answer a question, it's worth heeding!

BTW, if it was allowed to add this message I would still recommend not to add it in your hubs.

Reason: If most of the people that click your ads do not convert on the advertiser's website, your Adsense ads will get smart-priced which means you will earn something like 0.03 for a click that can give you $0.90.

Also, if you want to make money here, research SEO and keywords.

I think your doubt is interesting.
It doesnt violates hubpages rule but unfortunately it is against terms and condition of google adsense. In goolge program policies they are clearly saying that users should not ask clicks or encourage any one to click ads.
Publishers should not use word like "support us" or "meet our sponsers"
so you should not use these words.
      regards

Mmzh786, your statement that it doesn't violate HubPages' rules is incorrect, see Terms of Use section 9:

"These Impression-sharing services are provided subject generally to these Terms of Service, and in particular the terms in this section. There may also be additional terms imposed by the third parties with whom You choose to do business.

Your use of the Impressions program on the Service constitutes Your agreement to uphold and be subject to these additional terms and conditions, as well as those that may be imposed by third parties with whom You may engage in the course of Your participation in Impression sharing services..."

Section 4 is also of relevance:

"In Your use of the Website and Service You must abide by the following restrictions and prohibitions on use. As a Website user or Author, You may Not:

...Publish Hubs or Content for any illegal activities or to promote or make solicitations for any illegal or unauthorized activity."

Come now Ben, you are not stepping on anyone's toes at all. Everyone wants to give the advice so it cannot easily be misunderstood by you or any of the many other people who will be reading these forums later on. Things are complicated in this regulated space, that is all. Keep doing what you are doing.
