    1.  not really a hubaddict - write when inspired to (not making money from my writing - so that is probably why);  but read quite a few other writers hubs - so maybe i am after all...change that first part.
    2.  getting there - usually gives me a good laugh when i start my day
    3.  threads that are not so serious in heavy discussion - because it usually turns into a fight and not so much a debate....threads that seem to promote or spread hate are those i try to avoid looking at...but swoop in from time to time with a bit of humour to lighten things up...

I'm a semi-addict - I have learned to turn it off and walk away because I work so much on computers as it is...if I don't walk away sometimes, my butt is going to be permanently fixed to my chair and that makes it hard to get in and out of cars - among other things!

I like the forums but I bristle at some of the dialogue - if you can call it that! I like being polite and I like folks that are of like mind - and there are a lot of you!

I love the interaction - and I don't have any favorite threads (yet)....I'm trying to be focused and not be TOTALLY addicted! It is easy to become addicted, however!  I would write all day long if I could - that is my addiction!

I used to be an addict and am slowly getting back in the groove of it.

I am addicted to all things hubber hangout and sandpit so that would make me addicted to the forums I suppose though I don't always post to them I do read them everyday.

    1)Are you a hubaddict?
No.  I like the access to readership for less serious work that still has some value, though.

2)Are you addicted to the forums?  No. They can be amusing, however.

    3)What are your favorite threads?
The very rare ones where people actually read every word of everyone's posts and have really, really interesting conversations in intelligent, articulate and respectful language.

    1) Are you a hubaddict?
Apparently. I find it difficult to simultaneously enjoy and control my hubbing.

    2) Are you addicted to the forums?
Sorry to say, I am. Writing hubs was the gateway for me. Then it progressed to hub greeting, checking my earnings, my hubscore, my hub karma, etc. The forums are like sharing dirty needles. I know it's wrong -- dangerous even -- but I just can't help myself when the urge comes over me.

    3)What are your favorite threads?
To show you just how quickly hub addiction can take you down, I used to post exclusively in "Hubbers Hangout." Then came the 2008 presidential campaign and Sarah Palin. Now I'm mainlining Politics and Religion on a regular basis.

      I) Hubaddict?  Kind of and I always feel guilty and think I should be doing something more practical but when the creative urges start, I have to write one.
      2) The forums - I can't help myself, I have to read what's going on, even if I don't participate.  I put it down to living quite an isolated life.
      3) Fav threads - I loath the religion site but can't help dipping in from time to time.  I've never seen so much hate in print.  I love the sandpit and the hubbers hangout because essentially I am attracted to frivolity.

1)Are you a hubaddict? YES! I've only been on HubPages for about 3 months but I am hopelessly addicted. smile

2)Are you addicted to the forums?  I haven't been that involved so far, but I'm working on it. I really like the community here and there seem to be some really awesome people and writers.

3)What are your favorite threads? I can't choose yet. So far I've just been dipping in every now and then.

As much as I do like HubPages, unless I'm actually putting together a Hub, it's pretty much a secondary/side activity for me, while I'm doing other stuff on the PC.

Other than usually staying away from the religious, sports, politics, and food forums; I have no real favorite.  I more look for a thread that captures my attention for one reason or another.

Having said  the above, I was kind of shocked to discover yesterday that I apparently am "most active on the books and writing" forum.  (Today, I'm down to Number 2).  I don't feel like I've done much on there, but I'm wondering if that one just has fewer people posting (which would make it easier to be "most active").  Either way, time to back off that particular forum,  I like to strive to blend in.  lol
