every time i try to leave a comment on someones hub or write a new hub of my own i keep seeing, error on page, and nothing will work. this problem just started about 18 hours ago. does anyone know how i can fix it or what's going on? so far i'm only having trouble with hp and no other sites.
thanks in advance for whatever answers you have.
What browser are you using? IE is known to produce many errors at HP. If you are not already using Firefox, I suggest you give it a try; HP seems to be optimized for it and I, at least, have had no further problems since switching to it.
thanks so much. would you happen to know how much it would cost for me to switch over? i already have my budget for august worked out and moneys pretty tight until september. so if i can work the cost into my september budget i'll be sure to give it a try. until then i guess i just will not be able to write any new hubs or comment on other hubs.
Not a dime! Go to mozilla dot com and download the firefox. I switched a little over a month ago and have learned to like it better than IE - if I ever get my bookmarks and such off of IE I'll probably never open it again.
Try google chrome if you want. I have IE, FF and chrome and they all come in handy at times...
wow, thanks so much. i was going to write a few hubs tonight but then i just kept seeing error on page every time i tried to type stuff in. i guess now i'll spend the night switching over to firefox. at least i hope i'll be able to get back on track with my hubs by tomorrow.
No you won't (spend all night switching to firefox). It'll take about 10 minutes.
Plenty of time for 8 or 10 more hubs!
i just downloaded ff and went to write a hub, but it still says error on page. i'm starting to get really bummed out. i have no idea how to fix the problem or even what's wrong.
Now thats a bummer! If you're using FF and it still doesn't work, I can't help any more. I just went to start a hub and it worked with no problem - I've also been working on one all afternoon and published it.
I'm sorry, Lecie - I'm out of suggestions. Maybe someone more knowledgable about computers in general or HP in particular will chime in.
i figured it out. though i downloaded ff my computer was still running ie. i had to go open up the ff first. i just published a new hub with no more error signs. thanks so much for all of your help.
That's great! Shall I expect to see maybe 5 more hubs by the end of today?

Okay this is great! I downloaded it this morning, and it's really working wonderfully. We all know Edweirdo, a very clever and useful hubber who created the HubDefender tool for us all which detects hub-theft and assists in dealing with it. Edweirdo has also written many helpful tutorial hubs on...

Since I finished the apprenticeship, and after umpteen updates and changes made on HP, my traffic has never picked up. I can't remember the last time I saw any more than 40 views a day. My average at the moment is more like 30. The articles I worked long and hard to produce, sit there doing nothing...

Hello. I have some questions regarding Google Analytics and Webmaster tools. Any help is greatly appreciated. When I checked my webmaster tools, I saw a lot of URL errors, a 404 crawl error because apparently "Googlebot couldn't crawl this URL because it points to a non-existent page"....
