   OK, Chris Bosh is joining Dwyane Wade and LeBron is now going there. OK, so we have the latest "Big 3": Wade, James & Chris Bosh. Wade has a championship ring form 2006 playing alongside Shaq, so PERHAPS he can help King James get his? But the most obvious reason has to be MONEY yet again

   Thanks for that link, Paul.  I have to say that as a Clevelander of course I am disappointed, but I was also very disappointed by the way LeBron played in the final games.
   
   This is a great letter.  And I hope that he is right, because I for one, am pretty disgusted by the way LeBron has hyped up this "decision".  Last night was disgraceful.

   No player is deserving of the attention James got, just for signing with Miami.  Pat Riley should be able to provide some historical perspective to their situation.  When Riley played for the Lakers in the late 60's and early 70's, Los Angeles had the great Jerry West and Elgin Baylor on their roster.  Prior to the 68-69 season, the Lakers acquired Wilt Chamberlain and everyone assumed that because LA had three of the greatest players to ever play on their roster, they would win a title.
   
   They did, but it took four years to do it, and Elgin Baylor wasn't there by the time it happened. 
   
   Miami's goal of clearing out their entire roster except for Wade and Mario Chalmers is perhaps the biggest gamble in NBA history.  James thought there might be some players willing to take a pay cut to play for Miami, but if he was as serious about winning a title as he claims, he and Bosh would take a pay cut and allow Miami to retain some of their players.
   
   Does anyone believe that a good complimentary player will take a pay cut to go to Miami?  Would Shawn Marrion or Tayshawn Prince give up some cash to let LeBron, Chris and Dwayne steal the headlines while they do the grunt work?  Maybe some aging veteran looking for a title will pin his hopes on these guys, but they would be better served taking a pay cut to play for Boston, Orlando or the Lakers.  Miami might find themselves settling for players like J.J. Reddick or Luke Walton--good players, but certainly not great ones.
   
   If I were Pat Riley, I would be looking at the summer league games.  He might find a player or two that went undrafted that could help.  He's gonna have to pull more than one rabbit out of the hat to field a championship caliber team.

   I am happy for Lebron just because I think he deserves a little 'good luck' or a bit of time in a winning position.  Let's hope it all pans out though - you just never know!

    I think we will see a huge change in the way LeBron James plays basketball. He will get more assists, be more efficient and have less pressure on him to take wild shots. The HEAT is on those three big time now because everybody wants to beat Miami right now.
