Amazon Ads-How do you...

   tell whose percentage of time the ads are representing?  I know you can right click on the Google ads to find this out, but it doesn't seem to work on the Amazon ads or on the big colorful ads on the hubs.

      God question, I have been trying to figure that out myself. I don't believe you can even when you go into your amazon account. AEvans

   Hover over the link.  If you see your Associates ID somewhere in the URL, it's you.  If you don't, it's them.  (At least, I think that's how.  It's late and I'm operating on three hours' sleep...)
   
   The other way you tell with Google ads is in the source code of the page.   Look for your AdSense ID number.  If it's not there, all the page's Google ads are in HubPages' impression.

      Yep, you can either hover over the link and check the url, or search the source for "-20" and see if it has your code or HP. Up to date everybody who bothered to check found out HP does not cheat

         Thanks Misha, I guess I am checking those ads wrong.  Not saying HP cheats, but I've had some bad experiences with other sites that are not as easy to check up on.

            Sure, you are welcome. The transparency of HP revenue sharing program is what sets them apart from everybody else.

      Hello Oli!  I can find the info on the Google ads, but not the Amazon ads.  Do I trust Hubpages?  Not implicitly.  I've not written for a site yet which has a completely open process for revenue sharing.  There almost seems to be a pattern for the sales on the Amazon items I receive.
      
      I just wondered if the big ads too were considered into the percentage equation as they seem to be on the hubs quite frequently.  I do not get the same info for these and the Amazon ads as I do for those by Google.

   The Hub Pages are the best and easiest to deal with for setting up affiliates or referral links. And they are honest, as far as my dealings with Hub Pages are concerned. They have always been on the level with me.
   
   As for Amazon, you could always become an Amazon Associate if you wanted to!

      Thanks, but I am already an Amazon Associate.  I just didn't know how to tell when my percentage of the 60/40 split was taking place.  Making some good sales at times, but it's sporadic.

      I still haven't worked out how to check if I'm getting my 10% from my sign-up users! I guess we just have to trust the HubPages gods.
      
      I am making Amazon sales so something is definately working.
      
      I wish Amazon had better Analytics though as I haven't a clue which hubs or even which of my websites are resulting in sales, so unlike with AdSense it's really difficult to tune the performance of your sites.
