Many times I have been looking for something and it is next to impossible with the current set up, to be quite frank about it, it is useless.
Just now I was searching for "overprotective dog" which I know must exist here and it found nothing of any kind of use whatsoever...I do not want the word "overprotective" or "dog" on its own but together...
Many is the time I have had to just give up and go wandering around Google, can you make it so that if you type something it will find it exactly how you ask for it?
Absolutely nowhere did Hubpages search find the ones that Google found...this is a big problem when you cannot find what you are looking for
(Even the ability to search in phrasemarks will be a huge improvement)
Have you tried using the advanced search? It offers many more options.
You can "search in phrasemark". The only problem is that there is no content on hubpages with the words "overprotective dog" together. I even checked on google. Those words appear only in the same article, not together.
I love the hubpages search - you can make it broad to cover the whole site or simply click on one specific part such as "forums" or "hubbers".
I would just as soon not have HP expend their resources reinventing the wheel.
Proceed to Google.
Go to advanced search.
Put in your exact search phrase.
Put hubpages.com in the domain box.
Edit: Hang in there!
Google : overprotective+dog+HubPages
the first two have the words in the 'blurb' after the title and are Hubs.
1 is Dogs-That-are-Over-Protective-of-Their-Owners
2 is Why-Some-Dogs-Become-Protective-of-Owners
hope that helps.
Hi Sparhawke,
Thanks very much for reporting your experience with the search box.
The search worked ok for me:
http://hubpages.com/search/include:hubs … protective
I did a full site search. I entered:
dogs over protective
Then, I selected hubs in the selection list before clicking "search"
Please let me know if you did something different.
Thanks,
-Larry

While keywords, as part of your article are indeed important to the SEO "thing," and, as part of your article, they should be spelled properly and in the correct grammatical format, the tags you add outside the article are also valuable.I am beginning to suspect, however, that when...

Interesting read. They're coming down hard on pages with repeated spammy wording, hacked sites and pages with copied content. The most interesting thing was now that they believe they've cleaned up individual pages pretty well, they're turning their attention to "content farms," which I...

I love to see what people were looking for when they found my hubs, it helps me choosing new titles and see which questions I left unanswered.I was hoping to see keywords under Traffic Sources, but I have to click on each hub and then stats, and then keywords.... quite a long process to check them...
