      I haven't used Hubpages a lot, but it is a way that you can write content and earn money through Adsense revenue, but you have to share that revenue with Hubpages. And you need a lot of traffic, literally thousands, to earn the kind of revenue to quit a day job.
      
      You can also do a little bit of affiliate marketing, but Hubpages is strict about over promoting, so be sure to read the rules.
      
      But there are other sites you can write for an earn Adsense revenue, too. You can Google them. The good thing about Hubpages is that it has a high PR 6 ranking which is good for getting a backlink.
      
      However, if you're interested in making money in performing small jobs, for example, you may want to advertise your services on Fiverr.com. I see a lot of graphic designers. PHP coders. Writers. Website designers.
      
      The standard cost for every task is $5. Sellers only get $4 while Paypal and the site owner takes one dollar in fees.
      
      But there some people making decent money there who have good ratings and repeat customers. They're not getting rich, but they are making some decent money. So you may want to see how they do it.
      
      Again, the site is called Fiverr.com.

         I find it somewhat depressing that a graphic designer or PHP coder have to resort to doing anything for $5.
