How To Write A 60DC Log

    The title says it all.

This is where you go to answer sunforged's question: 60 DC The Return. Don't write a short answer, click 'make a hub about it'. Title it with something related to the 60DC Return.

    This is an example of a 60DC Log: http://hubpages.com/_60dc/hub/Learning- … llenge-Log
    And another: http://hubpages.com/_60dc/hub/online-goal-setting

    And another:http://hubpages.com/_60dc/hub/60-Day-Challenge-Wave-Log

    The principles are:

    1. set out your goals - do you want to earn more money, gain more readership, live in a mansion ... what?!

    2. make it readable. It is a personal hub and normally we're not encouraged to write personal logs but the 60DC benefits everyone

    3. don't panic! It is not rocket science and it's hard to get a 60DC log wrong - honest smile

    4. we are not writing our 60DC Return hubs as yet - we are in the first few days whereby we gather the masses and all jostle together, until we know who's in etc - then we will be given the green light - you have three days as yet, until the writing stage kicks in

    5. your log will be revisited as yopu progress: where you're at, how you're doing, what you're learning. In short, you're sharing your journey in order that others can follow what it is you're doing, how you're doing it and so on

And that's it. Happy 60DC HubLogging smile

Yeah good job, frog. You explain things very well, which is very much appreciated. So let me ask you something. Do I really need to incorporate into the hublog a list of all the hubs I intend to write? With summaries?

And I'll go ahead and warn you ahead of time that if you answer that question well, I'll merely ask another. wink

So no, what we were told in the other thread is wrong. Okay, got it. You may want to limit your spokespeople.

I wasn't spokes-speaking, so much as I'd noticed several hubbers had asked similar questions re the Hublog. I was cutting out the need for sunforged to have to keep scrolling through the original thread, in order to weed out q's to the Hublog itself.

The Hublog (yours) will be fleshed out as you go along. There will come a point when you will need to gather all your hubs, into their niches, and provide a simple summary of each one.

It relates to the promotional phase of the 60DC. That's the part whereby we link each other's hubs. But more about that later - else there'll be more confusion!

Believe me, frog, I appreciated your clear and concise explanation, and was not refering to you or anyone in particular really.

I think there are a few crossed wires here, which is natural in a project of this nature I suppose. It was quite a confusing start-up, with multiple forum threads, mistakenly misleading statements and no clear sign-up instructions.

Certainly providing the hub titles, summaries and links as we go along makes perfect sense, and I never would have annoyed people by questioning that.

I am certainly sorry that my confusion upset people, and will be much more careful about the questions I ask in the future, if any.

Again, you did a fantastic job, and I thank you for your very clear instructions.

I just followed IzzyM's example - that was before Froggy posted this. I think I got it right.

    Nice picture, Sunforged big_smile

Hi Smart. you might want to add some topics which you would like to write in your hublog -- thinking of niche -- you can also check this hub of ES http://hubpages.com/hub/60-Day-Challeng … ney-Online as starter while waiting for Sunforged hub about this challenge. If you have time also you can read the links there, mostly Sunforged hub to learn more. I also put some of Sunforged hubs in my hublog.

I think the information was correct and there are 32 example hubs to peek at. (h ttp://hubpages.com/hub/Goals-Planning-Success-The-60-day-Challenge-Team-on-HubPages  )

It just seems you got the impression that 60 Days worth of information was to be added at once?

Read through a couple - check out the comments - see how the challengers helped each other along and updated each other on how they were doing

Yes, the above does seem to give the wrong impression. Yes, I know it didn't come straight from you. I'll stick with this profile and not worry too much about what other people think about me due to someone else's mistake.

No worries now. I edited the hub, removed my hurried list and replaced it with general niches. Thanks for your help in clearing up the confusion.

Hey Pandoras Box - I wasn't picking. Don't worry about asking questions. I remember the first time around - confusion reigned many a time smile

If you don't ask, you'll just get more behind. All I was doing was trying to relieve sunforged of the 60DC weight. He really does put a lot of effort into this and never fails to provide extra curricular support.

I doubt that your question upset anyone, least of all me. Ask away - or send PM's.

For the hub logs only it's online-writing-goals.

But now sf seems to be saying in the other thread that he doesn't want us to use it yet, so you didn't hear it from me.

sunforgedposted 13 years agoin reply to this

? - You are correct "online writing goals"

Im seeing copycats of the last challenge tags - that would be hell on organization

      Totally unrelated

the tag "online writing goals" was selected because it was NEVER used before on a hub - no prior tag history

Froggy ..... as always teamwork at its best (and from one of the best) this is one Hubber who is always willing to explain and help .. Just like SF he never fails to provide extra curricular support to all. In my book, Froggy is right up there with SF. . . and this thread is a classic example of just that!

Ok time to put my Log together. .. over and out!
