Have you ever had something ordered from one of your links and ever been taken aback, or left thinking 'they really sell that'?
This week I had someone obviously going hiking in Bear country ordering items. How do I know this? The person ordered a Frontiersman Bear Deterrent with Holster. I didn't even know that you could buy those.
In my defence I do come from a country where a lot of things can kill you but bears are not among them. ;-)
We are not counting those really wild and dangerously rabid Koala bear types???? Those 'Drop Bears' ???????? NO? Not this type of bear ?
Now, Jase, you know we don't talk about them because they hysteria they could cause among tourists. We're used to them, but the world isn't really ready for them. It's hard enough convincing them that the Drop Bears are in fact just really well aimed branches from Gum Trees which fall down all the time, and they just have to watch really carefully for them! ;-)
I think that the strangest thing anyone has purchased off Amazon through one of my links is cockroach bait and killer. I have never written a hub on insect extermination, but there may be money in it! I have to say that as long as they are buying, I really don't mind what it is that they are purchasing!
My weirdest sale was actually a hair loss cover up makeup item. I didn't know they made cover up makeup for hair loss Was worth a bit tho
I actually wrote a hub on it after although it doesn't get much traffic. I guess people impulse buy something like that as opposed to searching for it to buy? Weird
Oh and at the time I had no hubs even remotely related to hair loss
A massive vibrator, it was huge, it made me chuckle... and then... well, I went to play on another website
Poop Freeze Spray (for dogs).
I also once sold a bunch of kindle books about domination, submission and dominatrix stuff. I always wondered what hub that came from!

Driving home in the rain today, listening to the radio, I heard them talking about this very thing and they were telling the story of some 44 year old woman who apparently sent three very bizarre emails in her sleep. As a child I used to sleepwalk, but I can't think of anything really strange...

So, went out to the dairy yesterday and they'd sold out of fresh milk by the time I got there. Thought I'd get a small bit of milk at the grocery to tide me over until the next time I go out there. I saw that the eggnog is out earlier this year, so I picked up a quart of it and am trying it in my...

There's that old saying about a sucker being born every minute and I have to say, I'm a little surprised by some of the things that people will actually spend money on. Some of the purchases made through my Hubs (which were not on my Hubs) are just very odd. The most memorable to date are:The...

Just a report of a possible glitch in the new program. I signed up, I think, on the 16th of the month, and the 17th shows two shipments. The 18th also shows a shipment, so the system is working. The 18th also shows a sale, and shipment of that sale, in my Amazon account - something that...
