I seem to be having the opposite problem many here have. I get clicks on my own websites for Google adsense, but hardly any on my hubs.
I've started to make a post on my own site and a hub on the same subject. They are on the same subject but wrote differently.
My site articles always rank higher than the hub one, and I get clicks on my article but not much on my hubs.
In fact I had my best day a few days ago, $14.64, but not a single click on hubpages!
Granted I only have 18 or so hubs I think. Could that be the main problem? Do I need to get them up to 100 or so? You also get 100% of the clicks on your own site also.
Just trying to figure out how to get clicks on my hubs when I get them on my own sites.
Why?
If you are getting traffic to your own site, Great! The most are having trouble to get google to come and find your material.
With all respect to the great people, if my blog was getting more visits than hubpages, I would spend more time there. You get 100% of the profit.
Many people will say they make more from hubs than their own pages. others, including me, don't find this to be true. I think the advantage to hubs is they are easy to make so you can just try topics out.
Yes, there are many different subjects I would like to try out, and they would not do well on my sites.
Writing about digital cameras on my theme park site I'm sure would not rank well at all, and get no clicks.
Whereas one on hubpages in the right category would get good ranking.
I guess I just need to write good articles on the right subject on my sites keeping with the theme. Then use hubpages for off topic hubs I want to try.

I recently posted about how I finally seem to understand how to get adsense clicks, and how my clicks have gone up.That is all true and I'm happy about that. HOWEVER, all the clicks are coming from my own sites and blogs, not from hubpages.I've only made around 5 bucks total here at hubpages. Yet...

I'm not being funny here, the hubstats yet only change 3 or 4 times a week, if you are lucky. Not to mention hubs take over 24 hours to publish. No mentions about it on the blog, no apologies, it isn't like the issue hasn't been ongoing for a while now...Anybody have any idea? Hope I've missed...

Curious: Do you have multiple accounts, because your profile shows 68 hubs. I took a lot of mine and moved them. I let what I have left sit til it goes idle then I take remove it. I have over 80 articles, new ones, that are not published here, but elsewhere. Earnings are less than 2 bucks a month....

I already have a number of hubs moved to the Hubpages network sites, but haven't really seen a drastic traffic change in said hubs. So, is it worth the risk to submit one of my hubs that already receives a decent amount of daily views to a vertical site?I'd hate to see aforementioned hub drop in...

I have been thinking of leaving HubPages for a while now because of several reasons. With their latest ebay/amazon update I now have to reformat over 90 hubs (Some had not been published yet and I was waiting for Halloween). Rather than doing this I will use my time looking for a site and...
