Low Hub Score that is Slow to Rise?

   Hi,
   I just published a new hub earlier today, and it was published at a HubScore of 49.  Although almost forty people have read it and it has been commented on, the HubScore remains at 49.  Usually, my hubs have risen in score much faster than this, so I'm a little concerned that I did something wrong with this hub.  Does anyone have any idea why this might happen in one case and not in others?  Or should I just relax?

      Most of mine start around 49/50/51 and take a couple of days to creep up.  Once in awhile one will move up fairly quickly, but, at least for mine, the usual thing is a two-day "affair" (or at least a one-full-day "affair").  I don't know this for sure (maybe someone else does), but I think it's the Hubs that are about something that catch people's attention more than some others.  I could be wrong.  I've never really asked or checked into it.

   Hi Second Act, I believe you should relax.. Any new hubs can start off at a score like this because it is new in the system.. Give it a few days and it can climb up once it crawl into Hubpages and the search engines.. LOL.. I would just say give it some time.. Especially if it is good content..

      I am often told I need to relax...    It's good to be told to relax by a complete stranger.  Thanks for the kind words, and now I'll be able to sleep tonight.

         You're welcome Just take your time next time and don't pay attention to the new hub.. Just let it build up, patience is the key..

   It should be no problem. Just let time pass and it will slowly go up. At times it might drop until 48 or 47 but it will gain its score after sometime

   I wouldn't worry, the hubscore thing can be odd. For instance, I have some unpublished hubs in my account that have been sitting about for some time - they have scores of around 60, and some don't even have any text yet, only a title. They have aged and their score has risen even though there is nothing to read!

      I've had the same thing happen. I'll save a hub with only a title so I can come back to it later - and it will slowly creep up.
      
      In the end hubscore isn't something to worry about at all. I generally leave my hub for a couple of weeks before I worry about it - those couple of weeks allow the hub to start getting traffic, get a reasonable hubscore and show its true colors.

      this is the second time i am reading this in two days that with just the title,  your unpublished huscore goes to 60 ... Is it possible ?????
      I had one hub saved and it went down and down until I had to delete it and write  out a new one up with the same title , which has done  OK with a score of 75 .
      
      I am wondering??

   I wish I could help you, but I never have unpublished hubs for very long - I do my writing and editing with other tools and by the time I get to here, I am ready to publish.
   
   But I have certainly seen hub scores go up and down.   I don't concern myself with that unless I am really concerned that the hub should have done better.
   
   That might need some clarification:  sometimes I write things just because I need to get something off my chest and I don't expect it to do well.  Sometimes I am surprised and it actually does do well, but if not, I don't think about it.
   
   More often I might expect better.  In those cases, I do go back and try to see why it failed and if I can, I will make corrections.  If that makes the score rise (or more importantly, attracts more search traffic) , great, but if not, I will just accept that my judgment is off and move on.
