I have 18 trackers and 21 sign ups. A few have written hubs and are pretty active writers.

15 sigin-ups.  10 hubs written.   Only one of the 15 signups appear to be serious about hubbing.

I sat with a lady the other day.

Went to my hub tracker url and she joined hubpages from one of my hubs.

When I ckeck my stats she does not appear there.

Personally, I believe the referral sign up simply does not work.

I'd let HubPages HQ know about it as well as the username of the person you've referred.

35 signups who have published 165 odd hubs between them. But of that totall 137 have been written by just 3 people and 1 of those people has written 75 odd hubs. In my eperience that is pretty typical for a referral program - most people who sign up for somethign that is free do absolutely nothing with it :-)

I was curious about that too terryg ... how does one know if they have a referral or not...did your referral show up eventually? maybe it just takes a few days?

There is another thread where Paul gave some insight on this.  Perhaps, I will try to find it.
