I don't buy very expensive cologne.

I love Far Away, Charlie, and Windsong, old standbys that beat the new fragrances by a mile, IMO.

Windsong/Charlie? They still make those? I loved those old commercials, and the perfume was cheap the girls loved it!

          Yep, they still make those!
I doubt they're very popular except with older old-fashioned women like me, but they're still on the market, surprisingly enough.  I found Windsong and Charlie at the local department stores.

Personally, I can't stand any cologne that has alcohol or chemicals in it. They just smell like chemicals to me and give me a headache.

I prefer natural oils and resins. Attars, as some people call them. There's a place on the web called Attar Bazaar who has amazing scents. My favorite, and possibly the sexiest in the world, is Tunisian Myrrh. OMG--it just makes you want to eat up whoever's wearing it!

Other favorites are the rose scented ones--Sudanese black rose is awesome (for me or a guy--yes, guys can wear rose, and their "masculine" smell makes it a different thing altogether), and their patchouli.

*blushes* Awww! I really like that name, thank you! (I might even make a sock puppet!)

I hate to be promotional, but that company really IS just awesome, and they have amazing customer service. Iman Chisti is one of the owners, and you can actually talk with HER on the phone if there's a problem. They often give out coupons to their customers online, and they have amazingly quick shipping, and the highest quality products ever.

Goodness. I sound like I work for them or something. Really, I don't...I just LOVE aromatherapy and their oils are so beyond delicious. You will not be disappointed.

For men,   I honestly can't think of a particular cologne that I really like to smell on a man!
Most of them seem way too musky, or else the man slathers it on too much.
My husband sometimes wears Black Suede and Wild Country.  Not bad, but still not a favorite of mine...

I bet you have a sensitive nose like mine...you might enjoy something natural that will blend well with the man's natural scent. You might check out the place I mentioned above.

never use this sort of stuff. In my opinion, the one with a slight smelling is all good. The one with strong smelling is too bad

the best sent on a guy is soap, laundry detergent, and fresh air.

I don't wear perfume alot Beautiful is a great one, a bit expensive so I hardly ever wear it.  Otherwise for everyday I just wear a good body spray, like from bath and body works. something like that.

Lady Stetson is okay for everyday as well.

I love Beautiful by Estee Lauder, and So In Love by Victoria Secrets. Both are these smell really good, with a sweet light scent. You don't have to put but a little on.
