I asked this question in the "Question" section but no one answered. Let me try it here.
"Who is the first Hubber, and presumably wrote the first Hub. Can I get to read it?"
Even I'd like to know the answer to that! Very unlikely we'll find out...
A follow-up question would be, which came first, the Hub or or the Hubsite? That is, was a hub written first before the site became active?
Probably the question was not answered because it is similar to "who was the first man". We likely will have a crop of religions soon arguing the issue - like Paulianity, Jasonism, etc.
Well, my deduction would be Ralph Deeds.
He has been here 4 years, and written over 700 Hubs.
When doing a search, the 76th page and last hub on that page is the link below.

Without confirmation from Ralph Deeds or Paul Deeds, I do not know which hub he actually wrote first 4 years ago.
Hi Ray, I am fine, just kidding around. How bout yrself?
come on Misha - you must know the answer - who was the first to write a hub - it had to be tested right?
From Wikipedia "The site launched in August 2006 after collecting a $2 million investment from Hummer Winblad. According to Quantcast, HubPages has become one of the 70 most visited US sites on the Internet. In June 2010, it received around 33 million visits and over 89 million page views , which, according to the site, were across over 830,000 pages published by more than 150,000 published users.
In May 2010, HubPages was recognized as one of the “2010 Hottest Silicon Valley Companies” by Lead411"

Sometimes when I have ideas for hubs, I "start a hub" and sometimes finish it later or just let it sit there for a while. Maybe I should just write down my hub ideas instead. Does it hurt my hub scores or overall hubber score to have those unfinished hubs (often with just titles) sitting...

Just had a big drop on my profile score. And all my hubs were featured along with a steady 10 Editors Choice. I say 'were' because 3 were just unfeatured and I don't know what to do about that. My views are over 945,000. Boo-hoo. Hubpages doesn't love me anymore!

I have encountered a very poorly written hub, the spelling and grammar was bad and the sentences were incomprehensible. The hub has less than 300 words in total including the title (268 words exactly) and has more than 15 none-English words. I had to check the hubber profile; the hubber has 12...

I just finished editing a Hub and signed out. Then I called up the Hub only to get this terrible message that puts a very bad light on Hubbers as possible violators of "The Code."What a poor image this gives the public. Being new to HB, my reaction is one of a public person who knows...

I am sure many of you have hopped a hub or two, and came across a hub that is such a load of... hogwash. Commenting the hub may or may not work. The hubber can always deny your comments. Flagging it? It's not quite up to THAT level of impropriety. So... would it be appropriate to "call...

My friend and fellow hubber found a hub that was very adult with nudity in it. I am just curious, I thought in the TOS that it said nudity was not allowed here at Hubpages.
