A lot of people don't know how to achieve peace. I thought it might be good to share - it may spark some ideas for those who are blocked.
My daily peace ritual is to have AT LEAST one hour in the a.m. and one hour in the p.m. for just me (runnng, yoga, writing, reading, or just breathing)
    What's yours?

Mine is to sleep at least 4 hours a day at least 5 days a week.  Other than that, I don't get a lot of "mental peace".  lol   (Lots of harmony at home, though - so there's that much.   smile  )

Yes looking to situation of world, everyone has lost there peace though they have money or not. So i always do meditation in morning at 4 am to take power from God (ocean of peace) and make myself a peacefull soul.

    always a daily walk..

also like to start the day and end it outside on the screened lanai, it's very peaceful and beautiful. I like to hear the sounds of nature.

I find peace in the ordinary and simple details of life - a bird washing its feathers in a puddle, a baby's smile, a shop assistant offering to lend me her umbrella because it's raining.

When I go into the bathroom in the morning to get ready for the day, that time is completely mine. I lock myself in, and nothing or nobody can disturb me.

I can't seem to sit still.  When I saw the Eat Pray Love movie, there was one scene where the main character was trying to meditate and couldn't.  I felt for her. lol

In the past I have meditated, practiced yoga, and a few other things, now I find the best excercise is to try to imagine myself in the place of others around the world to consider why they do what they do in order to understand why I do some of thengs that I do.

'Peace ritual'  you need to hold your peace all day long, I mean literally hold it, refusing to get into situations that may shatter it, refusing to say things that may spoil it for you,  blocking your ears - and now may be eyes too from hearing those purely  negative  statements.....
My peace ritual is to throw my bubbly happiness at others all the time...and sometimes at my own face,  just reminding myself that I want or choose to be happy...no matter what.. I will not let another have power over me and disturb my peace.
After the day is done just before I close my eyes I think of every peace breaking event that happened and say 'I let go'  and mentally picture myself junking those ' things' not people.
I am at peace... always... I am at peace...!!!!  smile smile smile smile
