Best subject for profitable adsense website?

   I've already got over a dozen websites. But now that I've learned more about how to use adsense better I'm thinking of making another website.
   
   This one would be used to push a niche that would do well with adsense. But what would that be? I'm assuming a general electronics site would do well.
   
   Then you can talk about all the new mobile phones, laptops, office electronics and so on. Lots of good key words to target with new products.
   
   But I'm not sure. What would you pick for a niche?

      Wow, what a great offer! Let me think about it a little though,,,,,,
      
      The more I think about it the more I think an electronics site is the way to go. Or a general merchandise site. It just gives you so many key words to use, plus new ones when new items are made.

   Anything you can consistently rank high in the SERPS for should generate adsense income. I say that because of the way G now customizes search so much. It seems that no matter what sites I now visit, my preferences go with me and I'm always seeing the same ads.

      Yes I'm seeing the same thing while working on my own sites. I'll make a post on my tourist site about Disney and so on. Then when I click on my pet site I get Disney ads on there, something that has nothing to do with pets!

   Assumptions won't make you money.
   
   Google tells you which keywords will pay well with their Adwords Keyword tool.
   
   The trick is not to focus so much on a single phrase but look at industries that require a high cost of customer acquisiotn and are "Evergreen" meaning the customer will have to purchase over and over and the industry is mature.
   
   For example:  Automobile Insurance.  A customer pays a lot and pays over and over.  This is big money.  So the Insurance Industry will pay more for that client because they make so much more long term.
   
   Keep in mind Google doesn't begin to reward webmasters with high payouts regardless of industry targeted until your site gains relevance and authority.
   
   This is why idiots still choosing phrases like Florida DUI attorney are pulling 2 cents a click.
   
   You need both the right target and an authority site.  I've been with Adsense since it first came out in the summer of 2003 and pull 6 figures.  Adsense has paid for practically everything I own since then.  It's a crazy huge opportunity for those who are smart enough to figure it out.

      Thanks, everything you say makes sense. By authority site, are you referring to PR? I've never had any site go higher than PR2, and I've had them for years.
