"Holding Penalty"! Game over Washington wins 13-7.  Dallas is still in preseason losing/self-destructing mold. Only one game, but...should all of us Dallas fans be worried already? Not looking good after tonight.

    1. running game...not good
    2. passing game...not good enough
    3. defense...too many errors
    4. coaching...nightmare!

Jerry Jones needs to step in and fix the problems before week 2. The Cowboys are too good and too much talent to play like this. This was an embarrassing game for the Cowboys. No excuses, they just played Bad!!!

I feel the same way about my Vikings in that neither team was ready for their games this week. It's just another testament to what I have been saying for a long time in regard to Wade Phillips and Brad Childress and what they lack in coaching compared to many others.

Tough game there for the Cowboys. That was a self-destruction spanning the whole game. The call at the end of the game was the right call. Without that choke-hold, Romo would have almost certainly been sacked.  I have been saying though that the Redskins will be a team to reckon with with this. They have the coaching. They did an outstanding job of tackling tonight as well.

Alex Barron was holding big time. Why did Dallas even take him? The 2nd most penalized player after Flozell Adams last year!?!?!?!  DUH!
MVP of the game for the Redskins should be Alex Barron of the Cowboys as he had multiple penalties tonight.  Barron should be cut immediately. Any rookie player should take his place. He has a long history of bad plays.

LOL, I know, just so frustrating to see a team play so far below what they can play. But, just one game. I will be upset overnight and then look to next week.

But on a positive...Roy Williams made some good catches tonight and so  did Dez Bryant. Austin was in good form.

the cowboys have so much talent im thinking time for a new offensive coordinator.but on the bright side we will be getting our 2 starting offensive lineman back soon.and i also likes the way miles austin and dez bryant played

I won't even get that upset over it. It's the beginning of the season. If they haven't won a game by the fourth game, then I'll begin to get angry. Until then, oh well. lol

Very true! The voice of reason! But lose to the Redskins??? LOL...anybody else would be OK.

WOW, on twitter all the NFL experts and NFL player are going off on Alex Barron!!! Saying how they knew Barron would hurt the Cowboys. They were right.

It is not only on Alex though it seems, he is always holding somebody, smiles.

It is a bit frustrating, but that's the way it is! Although I know Dallas will win the next of games because Austin is dating Kim Kardashian = team always win when they date the Kardashians, look at Bush last year with Kim, smile again,

Dallas Cowboys is a wreck last night, I really hope they will gather their acts together,

Good point PDH about the aura of success for those dating a Kardashian.

Lamar Odom, who is married to Chloe, also won the NBA Championship this past season with the L.A. Lakers.

You might be on to something there...

Nah, I just added something into it, maybe an inspiration that's it.

The Steelers need lots of it though --inspiration and hardwork b4 Big B can come back...

It is just one game, but each game is huge this season in the NFC East and NFC North because those two divisions are the top two in the NFC and they play each other throughout the year. That leaves two horribly weak divisions in the NFC West and NFC South playing absolute cupcake schedules. The race for the playoffs is going to be intense and I do not think any team will have an elite record other than maybe the Saints. You'll probably have the Saints at 14-2 or 13-3 and the rest of the playoff teams at 10-6 or even 9-7. It's just set up to be difficult for the big teams this year, other than the Saints.

Michael it wasn't hust Barron. That play at the end of the first half was a killer too ! Overall the Cowboys looked a little out of synch. But its only week 1. I am sure they will be fine !

It's amazing how victory or defeat in NFL games can hinge on a single coaching decision.  New Orleans won the Super Bowl by going for an on sides kick.  Dallas blew it with that 1st half call that had <0 chance of success.
