I signed up for adsense, and I get an email that because my site isn't 6 months old, I cannot qualify for an adsense account. And there are ads in my hubs.
And how can I earn in the meantime!!!
Those ads are Hubpages publisher id, in the mean time sign up for other affiliate programs
You can earn from Amazon and Ebay.
Be patient. If you're new to this you wouldn't have been earning much anyway.
Implement the other affiliates (Kontera, Amazon, and Ebay). Like darkside said, because you're new, it'll take a while to earn on Google anyway. At least while you wait, your hubs can be getting traffic and hopefully building status.
I think you earn a little faster on Kontera, so just implement that in the meantime.
That's weird. This must be new, because when I started my new account, I signed up for Adsense and my application was approved within a couple of days.
It's a recent change that has affected anyone applying for an account, not just HubPage authors.
I'm seeing the same thing being mentioned at Digital Point and AdsenseChat.
Yeah Google is getting strict and frustrating a lot of folks now! Here an interesting blogpost I found that is a hot thread ~ http://blog.2createawebsite.com/2008/12 … -bloggers/
Well, I'm glad I signed up for an account when I did!
Yes, Google is getting tight and tougher – perhaps because of the current credit crunch. They may be figuring it out that whilst the credit crunch continues, they can use the opportunity to limit the number of new publishers as well as to clean their house.
It is particularly difficulty to new publishers when they say you should have your own domain – that is yourname.com and not yourname.host.com.
The policy does not to seem to be a strict one.
I purchased my domain mid November. My site went live Jan 2nd (Friday) and I applied for adsense the same day. My account was approved Jan 5 (Monday).
The difference may be that my adsense account is for my domain, not just for hubpages.

Can I?I have a couple of smaller accounts. As Amazon currently operates, my earnings go into one pot. From what I can understand, that won't happen once HP take over my Amazon. Or am I wrong? If I'm not, why not? I am going to lose out as it is, and I can't see the separation of my HP accounts being...

Everyone I know here seems to have their Google traffic back. I don't know about Randy, he hasn't posted recently.I am taking a long hard look at my writing, and I guess it falls at every hurdle, somehow.Yet when I search Google for many topics, I see first page results that I should be able to...

Is there any way that I can earn without Google Adsense account on HubPages? I found Referral Trackers one of the ways of earning on HubPages. But I want to ask can I earn through Referral Trackers without having Google AdSense account?

I will try in short because I explored whole day about HubPages and I still need some confirmation how to proceed on best way if possible? Before 2 years I lost AdSense because of stupid reasons like wrong keywords (I know, I was rookie) and since it was impossible for me to check all blogs + posts...

I have deleted my adsense account myself. And was just wondering if I can still earn money on hubpages with my amazon. Thanks

I have an idea for Hubpages to look into and implement if does not involve complications. More and more adsense publisher accounts are being disabled and top hubbers are being targetted. HP may come out of it unaffected if it considers to place its own publisher ID for 100% impressions for...
