What's the more important factor to you, meaning

do you write to make money?

do you write to write as a passion?

do you use the net in any capacity with a primary purpose of making money?

I was recently told by a 2 year hubber I should be very grateful to hubpages that they allow me to stay here when I do nothing but write, and just be quiet - swear,

the best part I've been making money here for a year and half, so my answer, for what its worth, they money is yes, building, but i write to write, I write for many sites and for the same reason.

To that hubber, should The money be taken, I'm still happy.

I judge no one, ok a few, but just curious where is our priority, and while not for me, i think money should be the priority.

final option to answer, this thread is lame.

    the grateful Kimberly

    both
but since my income is so tiny-i won't say-i need money and I hope I make some. so far 10.70

my question is, how can people here be happy making 100 a month or 500 a month (every 6 months...)

relance says she pays bills w/ hers? or rent? I can't remember
    Well, that would be nice
but it seems to take a long time
and these things are so complex

Definitely the money.  I'm responsible for every bill and everything in my life, so I need the income to prevent me having to get what my father would call "a proper job"

    smile

I have one online income equivalent to a full-time job, my current quest (to the end of 2011) is to get hubs bringing me in a full-time income too.  Then I'll be a two income household all on my own!  You need two incomes these days, things are so expensive.

I write because it's fun, and I enjoy the camaraderie here.  I certainly don't rely on making money here.  I don't think my $1.96 Adsense money will go very far. big_smile

I find I can do much better at my affiliate marketing efforts elsewhere, although I'm really just getting my feet wet so far.

I can't imagine anyone seriously thinking that making money at Hubpages should be our primary purpose, after all it's your choice to include the ads or not.  It's not as though Hubpages is forcing you to 'pay your way' or anything.

I write because I like too, secondly I have an interest in the topics I choose to write about, thirdly I would like to make some money by writing the best I can and once you do it drives you on to write more.

I write because I'm passionate about writing and feel it's something I want to do. Money is nice, but if it was only about the money I think I would train for a different career. Primarily I enjoy the writing.

I just write what the voices tell me. Hopefully, they find topics that'll make money someday. Need five bucks for fish and chips.

Every single person has their own priority and should be respected for it..whats important at the end of the day  we get to read some incredible hubs...and hopefully write some that people like.
