AdSense application not yet approved!

   Dear fellow hubbers!
   
   I've applied for adsense six days ago, but my application is not approved yet. I don't own any website; is that the reason? I've applied through my hubpages account and what I understand if I go via hubpages route then owning a website in not an issue. Is it so? By the way I joined hubpages onle a week ago. Please help me with some information!

      Adsense is now taking time to confirm new registrars. A friend of mine signed up some weeks ago and since that day he hasn't gotten any reply! Just wait! They'll get back to you sooner or soonest.

   Welcome here! It can easily take up to two weeks for an Adsense application to be processed. Be sure to check your spam folder, also.

   Adsense sometimes takes longer to review application. In fact I know people who got their adsense approved only after 4 weeks of applying for it. So keep checking your email i.e. both your inbox as well as spam folder. All the best.

   I see from your profile that you are from India - I believe you have to wait six months before applying for adsense.

         It is official Google policy that applicants from India, China and certain other countries must have had a web presence for at least 6 months prior to applying for Adsense.

            I think that rule applies if ur site is registered from India! But I don't won a site. If the "six months rule" applies to me I think the Google authorities should have disapproved my application. But I've got nothing from their side after submitting my application. If I've to wait then I'll come back again after six months with my application, but shouldn't they let me know if it's disapproved or not!

               No, the rule is a matter of nationality, not where the site is registered. Google has a bad record of informing applicants about what is going on. Research the forums, and you will see. 6 months of waiting, that is what you should prepare yourself for.

                  I belong to India too and my adsense application was disapproved, it said "Thank you for your interest in Google AdSense. Unfortunately, after
                  reviewing your application, we're unable to accept you into Google
                  AdSense at this time."
                  
                  Further detail:
                  
                  Unacceptable site content: Your website contains content that we do not
                  allow at this time. Please review our policies
                  (https://www.google.com/adsense/policies?hl=en_US) for a complete list
                  of site content not allowed on web pages.
                  
                  It says ..for India minimum waiting period is 6 months from the time you open your account here.

   Normally it will take 1 week to 1 month. Since you are from india it may take more than 6 months.

      Well, I'm not from India and it's taken nearly a month for me. I got the email confirmation message and replied asap but since then, nothing.  Tried logging onto the account but apparently i'm under review.... Wouldn't it be nice if Google had someone you could talk to about it? Good luck Andy, I hope yours and my applications come through soon.

            Sorry Andy you have published just six hubs in 9 days and you expect google to approve your account. For indian applicants like us google has a six month policy, any indian and chinese applicant who is applying for adsense must have active websites/blogs for more than six months.  Suggest you to keep on writing good hubs till then. After six months apply for the account, they'll surely approve it.
            
            Applying through different computers as suggested by some fellow indian or creating a new ID is not gonna yield any positive results. GOOGLE CAN BAN YOU FOR A LIFETIME................

               Thank you so much for the info! I'm not expecting Google to approve so soon, I know I'm a newbie. I just didn't know the policy. Anyway thank you for your suggestation and especially for the warning, it's so helpful!

   I don't know what I did right but I applied for adsense at about 10 this morning and got approval less than five hours later.
