Do you have an opinion about the most distinct opening guitar riff of all times?
My vote goes to Long Cool Woman in a Black Dress by the Hollies
i like that choice! there are so many great guitarists; joe satriani or jimi baby always come to mind when i think of guitar...need to think about it a bit more.
okay, i'm back...the classic 'comfortably numb' by PFloyd....one of my top 5.
Come to think of it, i agree it is a difficult choice among a host of songs like Sweet Home Alabama, My sweet Lord, Born to be Wild, Staying Alive
Oh, the list can go on and on
Eric Clapton - Layla -
sweet!

man, that music is so fine!
I'm downloading that album "Live at Madison Square" with Stevie and Eric - it has ALL my favs on it and why didn't I do this before - man, this makes me feel so good to hear these songs again. Perfect Indian Summer day, perfect songs for it.

It's too subjective. There's also a multitude of criteria to consider. I can pretty much guarantee any pop musicians would not be on my list, however. I have yet to hear a phenomenal musician in either the pop or alt. country genre.

Newsmax: On your support, I know you explained why you're supporting him, but it was a 180 degree turnaround, for the most part. I mean, he said some nasty things about you. How do you reconcile that?"Ben Carson: Ah... Politics. You know, the politics of personal destruction. You know, that's...
