On the exception of holiday months, last month was probably my biggest amazon turnout. I sold over $10,000 worth of products.

I can't wait for the holiday season this year! It's coming in a few months.

That's awesome Whitney!  I bow to you (and Ryan)!  Last month was my best Amazon so far, but with sales at only about $2300.  I have yet to reach the 7% threshold, but I'm crossing my fingers that I get there over the next few months thanks to the holidays...

Wow and congratulations! Here I was feeling all impressed that I'd sold about $250 of stuff this month so far with 27 items.

    *Goes off to sulk*

Congrats Whitney, I am on about $7500 worth of stuff this month. With a bit of luck I will reach $8000 before the end of the month.

Did that take you above the 7% threshold? I am optimistic for a couple of $10k months before Xmas, Nov and Dec probably. I should reach the 7% threshold today or tomorrow (enough stuff sold, just waiting for it to show as shipped).

I made it to 7.5%  I had an MP3 sale of 10% which was cool.

This month has only reached to $7200 worth of products, which is still a decent amount, but last month's products definitely gives me hope for a bigger holiday than last year's, which was pretty big.

It's crazy how a bunch of little things add up, especially with a few bigger items mixed in.

Write tonnes of sales pages and cross your fingers, thats what I do and I would suspect that Whitney does this too! If you find something which converts, write more about it. Simples!

DOH! Wayne, you are getting confused. Don't ya know that the sole point in those adverts was to tell you that the website is actually COMPARETHEMEERKAT.COM

Those Meerkats spent goodness knows how much money on adverts to get people straight on the matter, and people like you still confuse the two hmm

I think it annoys people so much that advert...but it gets in your head......can't think!!....people go searching for comparethemeerkat.com thinking they are going to compare meerkats and little kids are thinking that the meerkats can talk in a polish accent....!

You know that there is actually a website called comparethemeerkat.com, on which you can compare meerkats right?

                http://www.comparethemeerkat.com/

Where do I throw the code in order to make sure I'm going to get paid.

I made an amazon capsule and added the product I'm looking for, but I didn't add a code. can someone just give me an example

You don't need to add the code. Just put the amazon ID in affiliates settings page and then use the capsule in your hub.

Congratulations Whitney, looks like you are going to have a very happy Amazon Christmas!  I've had a very strange September with Amazon, with days of no sales, then good sales for a few days.  Back in a no sales patch at the moment!

After reading all of this, it makes me want to write a whole lot more.  Unfortunately, it takes me a long time to write a hub, from initial research, to putting it all together, to writing it, etc.  Some of my sillier, or more personal hubs are easier to write, but don't get as much traffic.  I just need to find more time to write, either that, or quit my job...LOL!

I thought I was doing well selling 750.00 a month! LOL roll
