There is a particular user on hubpages who has created 21 hubs in the last 40 minutes.  All the hubs that I checked were direct cut and pastes from another website.  I dont know if it is his website.

Checking further he has been a hubber for 5 months but about 275 of his hubs were published in the last 25 hours, all on 1 topic.

Is that considered acceptable behaviour from a hubber?

      I wouldn't think so.

If you flag one or more of the hubs-- the team will take a look at it (if they haven't already) and decide if this is spamming, or whatever.

If it's who I think you mean, that person has been posting so much and so often the past two days that it's enough to make me want to ask for some way to filter the Recent Hubs to exclude people so I don't have to go through 20 pages to see what is new.

Yes, its the same person.  I published 2 hubs today ant they both got lost in the avalanche.  He is still going at it, he is up to 340 hubs in 27 hours.

He seems to have finished with the site he was copying from about 2 or 3 minutes ago and is now copying pages from various blogspot blogs.

This is ridiculous to say the least!

Damn, he's publishing one hub a minute.

I'd say he bought himself some PLR articles. Which will be a strategy that is sure to backfire.

and someone made a comment about my 10 hubs in 3 days lol. I expect this content in these post is copy and paste, I have used up my free copy scape tries for the month but if I where a betting man thats what I would bet.

At the bottom of each hub, usually just above the comments, is a bar with thumbs up or thumbs down buttons and a line that says [flag this hub].  Click it and follow the directions.

thank you just found a different "author" that just sign up that is coping from wiki and posting it. One would think when they go to what appears to a be a website that has intelligent authors frequenting it and thus far thats my impression of HP that maybe they should refrain from plagiarism. roll

I try to flag those. They won't necessarily be removed, but their score will drop. There are other things that can be done, but flagging is easiest.

no LondonGirl but it appears that a good many pages in HubPages are duplicate content. as in just a few minutes I discoved several. I am simply flagging them with a link to the URL from which they came

I have flagged severla today is this an everyday chore, and better yet is anything done about it?

Don't make a chore of it. I used to do it quite a bit, but it is hardly worth the time. The HubPages team does weed out the spammers. If you flag one, they likely look over others  written by the same author.
