I woke up this morning and my adsense says 6 clicks, yet zero money. I don't see any channels with those clicks. I just got another click and it shows fine, 29 cents.
Any idea what is going on with those 6 clicks? Where are they coming from, and why no money from them?
Either public service ads or invalidated clicks.
Are you able to ascertain which hubpage they come from?
I can't find them anywhere. No channels or anything, just says 6 clicks at the top under "adsense for content".
However they would have come from my own sites, as I get 99.9% of my clicks on my own sites.
Do they show in Analytics?
I just looked way down the bottom of my Analytics reports and after paging down over 300 entries I got to the zeros. There are a few that show 1 click and no income, so I guess it happens, but I didn't see any more than 1 click anywhere. Six does seem odd.
Do you use Analytics? That would be the best way of ascertaining where they have come from.
Although if you have any referrals anywhere, on any Rev share site, then the clicks may not even be on your content.
EDIT: You do not use Analytics. Using it from now on will save you future headaches without this. It is also one of the best means of identifying new keywords.
Perhaps I'll look into getting it. I just get tired of how much information Google has about everyone. I firmly believe the main reason Google gives you a free program like Analytics is to use the information for themselves.
Like Ryan says, either invalidated clicks or public service. I seem to be getting more of them lately as well, and quite a few paying just 1 or 2 cents.
Me 3, I've been getting low ones recently as well. I get about 10-15 clicks in the first hours of the morning which sometimes only seem to amount to about 15 pence, then I've been getting the high ones later on, maybe people read PSA's when they aren't quite awake lol
Do you have allowed sites enabled? 'm not entirely sure how it works, but it could be that you have your adsense ID on a page not included on your allowed sites list?
(I don't know if this is correct, just throwing it out there!)
HHmm, that could be. I allowed, then stopped Flicka, as it seems like a very spammy place. But I thought I allowed them again.
Like the others said, maybe it was one of those other reasons they mentioned. I did not know clicks on a public service ad gets shown on your stats.
On a side note, something Ryan mentioned in another post, my amount per click has gone way up at the start of this month. So he was right that some sponsors run out of their budget at the end of the month.
Makes sense. Plus at the start of a month they all have that "go for it" attitude and pay more, then pay less as they slowly lose money throughout the month!
Hmm, my bad. I clicked on the "show all channels" and it does show the 6 clicks. All of them on my tourist site, 6 clicks and no money from them.
Must have been the public service ads, or someone clicked too many times and it disregarded those. Well now I know, sorry about that!

I've joined hubpages last month because of all the words spreading around about it and since then I've created about 50 hubs all spread out over several accounts. Now I've targeted long tail keywords for my hubs with average CPC of 2$ and about 1000 hits per day. My hubs are ranking well and I'm...

I just noticed that I don't get reports on my Adsense clicks in my adsense account based on individual sites. I added my subdomain as a URL channel under My Ads. What do I need to do in order to get reports as to how many clicks I receive on my hubs? I'm not sure whether the clicks are from my hubs...

Something happened when I checked into my Google adsense. The part where it says Adsense for Content is different. It now says top channels, and has clicks that do not seem to be credited to me or something. I honestly do not know how to explain it. I have 10 clicks, but it seems only one is...
