How relevant is Scroogle in the overall picture of search ranks?

   I've just started searching with Scroogle to check my ranks and I've noticed some differences from the Google searches in the following ways.
   
   1. Many more of my bookmarks show up.
   2. The rankings are slightly different.
   
   How relevant is this in the overall picture? How many people are estimated to use Scroogle and how does this effect the overall numbers for exact search terms on keyword tools such as Google Adwords? Is the Scroogle search something that you can go by as a proper indication of where you really sit?

   Scroogle shows you cached Google search results  without influence of cookies.
   
   So the differences are
   
   Scroogle might have a slight delay 24~48 hours in updating.
   
   Scroogle shows you results without taking in to account your own personal visits to your own site, or bookmarks you have made.
   Scroogle will not show you results based on the types of websites you have visited in the past.
   
   This makes Scroogle much more accurate for checking your serps, particularly since you will undoubtedly be visiting your own site, which will push it up to the top rankings in Google's search Since it thinks you like the site)

   Yep.
   
   Scroogle will be based upon where the Scroogle gathered the data from Google's cache (which data center).

   So what I understand from this Google actually track your data making it so if I look up any of my hubs in Google from my home computer, they will appear higher in the SERPS than they may actually be?

      But everyones is, so even scroogle only shows an ideal unpolluted return.

   So really there is no TRUE method to get this. OR actually it differs on everyone's machines, but do your best to get on the first page of google regardless of this "self inflicted favoritism".

   What I find interesting is that my sites show up HIGHER in ranking on Scroogle, at least some.
   
   It should be the other way and why I wanted to see how my pages are without my favored pages.
   
   On scroogle I'm on the first page for "harry potter action figures". Yet my awstats in C-panel shows no typed in searches for that?

      It doesn't seem like there really is great way to figure this out. There is no set standard. I would think the best tools at our disposal are Adsense and Analytics.....but even still, I wonder how much of that data is 100% accurate, like spot on. I'm a skeptic of most everything and although I've seen some earnage, I almost just consider writing quality hubs doing keyword research rather than worrying about where it's ranked. At least for now...

   Well I just found it interesting that some things that show up way down the list on Google show up higher on Scroogle. My Hub is page #1 and rising steadily #4 Google #3 Scroogle for targeted keyword. On Scroogle however I own 3 spots in Top Ten with 7 other spots in top 30 with various articles and bookmarks in support of Hub, whereas on Google I hold only the main Hub on page #1 with 2 others on page #2 and then only 3 more in top 30.
   I'm not stressing over the issue except I'm wondering why I'm still not getting great traffic(though it's a term not searched for a large amount and lately I'm targeting pushing it up for part of the long tail that is searched for more often).
   
   Just trying to understand another piece of the puzzle is all I guess,thanks for all of your replies!
